Sharing My Work Online Has Really Helped Me In So Many Ways. I Was The Most Insecure Kid When It Came
sharing my work online has really helped me in so many ways. i was the most insecure kid when it came to sharing something i’ve created. i would get mortified if someone accidentally saw one of my drawings, i would start criticizing it insensibly, without even giving them a chance to express their opinion. but i feel healed now and this has a lot to do with me sharing my work online on a regular basis. with people i don’t even know. i feel like i’ve finally made peace with myself, at least i got the confidence to actually hang my old portrait studies on the wall now. and seeing you tasteful people saying you felt things looking at my painting is just unutterable. i know it’s not that of a big deal for most of you (and it’s okay), but still <3

i always draw everything on a small scale and then size it up before exporting bc my software lags like crazy on bigger scales. but the cat practices i spent 3 hours on the other day turned out to be extremely tiny. like, it's literally just the silhouettes.
