76. Our Beloved Summer

I remember this show being very popular while it aired so it was added to my list.
I didn't know anything about the plot or even the actors.
I was expecting this show to be really good because of all the hype but I was bored throughout 🙈 I know this is on many favourite lists but I just don't get it. It was really slow and I just watched it to get to the end.
I did like a few things: the scenes when they were in school and how it tied to their present life, Ung's parents and Yeon-su's halmeoni. And Sol-i was always entertaining.
But overall I was bored, I couldn't understand the whole documentary plot, it seemed like a weak way to get the leads back together and could have been done so many other ways.
Overall I'm not recommending this, sorry to everyone who loved it 🙊

May I present you the best man, Dongfang Qincang!
Please watch Love Between Fairy And Devil on Netflix!
people like to complain about changheng being a coward or useless or whatever BUT unlike most other second leads, he didn't try to manipulate xiao lanhuas feelings... how many others would've shown her the memories of them together or taken advantage of their marriage at the end? NO ONE is as honorable or trustworthy or principled as changheng! he couldve let dongfang qingcang die in his dream alongside xiao lanhua but it was about the bigger picture to him! he wants what's best for everyone, not just himself. letting go of xiao lanhua isn't cowardice at all. it's sacrificing himself and his own happiness for the betterment of everyone in both shuiyuntian and cangyan sea. it's tragic that he can't be with the one he loves, but he takes it to protect everyone he cares about, including xiao lanhua. he's THAT bitch and we love him in this house. changheng supremacy.
