As Someone Who Doesn't Live In The US But Does Keep Up With US Politics It Almost Feels Comically Weird

As someone who doesn't live in the US but does keep up with US politics it almost feels comically weird to me sometime. Like people will be like there are two choices "The puppy grinding machine" and "The puppy grinding machine that feeds the puppies back too you all while charging 20,000 dollars for it to keep running " and people will argue how the first choice is just as bad as the other because their is no choice for "No puppy grinding machine" so they we choose nothing and let the worst of the two win because they don't want any puppy grinding on their conscience. All the while the puppies are begging them to choose the less evil option even if they would be fucked either way.

Hind Rajab was a 5 year old girl in Gaza who was killed while she hid alone in a car, along with the paramedics who tried to rescue her. Yesterday students at Columbia seized the administration building and renamed it in her honor.

Jokes aside it’s actually so scary seeing the tireless propaganda machine at play to paint Trump as this valiant war hero who withstood being shot at and who will now serve as this larger than life figure to get batshit people’s votes……… like I actually am so wary of this election cycle & what it means not only for usamericans but also for the people suffering overseas as a direct result of America’s desire to continue happily funding genocide

Was just scrolling twitter and came across some fluff and just got hit with so much yearning that I could physically feel it. The thought of one day waking up to a girlfriend/wife that I get to shower in kiss and cuddle as we sleep was so strong it felt so tangential, like if I reached out it would all be there for me a genuine human connection I can pour all my love into. But it's the first time that a thought like this was followed by hope that I would get a partner to share my love with for the rest of my life no matter if it takes 1 or 2 or 5 years. I will achieve happiness for myself and that is such a bittersweet feeling that I feel like I have to share because it's so painful in it's beauty it makes me smile thought my tears of loneliness.
