I'm a mother of a 2-year-old child. His name is yousef... I see my son growing up in front of me and I do not know how or when. This is not what I wished for him. I was dreaming of a wonderful life to spend with him...a life not full of death, fear, destruction and deprivation...I wanted to fill his room with toys and his closet with clothes, and I wanted to buy children's books for him, but I couldn't...the war came and the wishes were gone...my goal became to provide him with milk and food. I can barely afford anything. Everything is expensive and we no longer have income to enable us to buy his needs. Kram eggs have been deprived of many of his basic needs. He has been deprived of safety and stability..No, fruits, or meat.

There is nothing but fear that fills my son's eyes as soon as he hears the voices around him. He does not realize what It happens outside, but he feels and sees it in our eyes when he looks at us.I cannot protect myself and my son. Help me to save my son yousef. I had ambitions and dreams and I was living a happy life with my family in our simple home, but something like a nightmare happened. The war came and took all our dreams and destroyed our home. Our lives became very difficult and arduous. We were living in tents in the extreme heat. My father suffers from chronic diseases, heart disease, blood pressure, diabetes, and a defect in two cartilages in his back and a cartilage in his neck. My little brother suffers from visual acuity, which means very weak eyesight. Help me save my sick family, my father and brother. I ask for your support and participation

We were displaced from Gaza to Rafah at the beginning of the war, and we survived the genocide that occurred, We somewhat found some peace there as it was a safe area, but unfortunately, after Rafah was attacked, we left under bombing, destruction, and gunfire.

My family and I saw death and were displaced again to Nuseirat, then to Khan Yunis, then to Deir al-Balah. It is a somewhat safe area, but there is no safety in Deir al-Balah because of the repeated attacks and violent shelling. We lived an unforgettable experience of fear, death and genocide. Now I hope that everything will end and that I can save my family and little sisters from all this. I'm seeing so many palestinian fundraisers that are getting completely abandoned by people the moment they meet a short term goal or a goal they need to extend, if not a bit before. This can't keep happening, especially when one of the reason they need to extend their goal is because fundraising is taking so much time and the prices in Gaza are only going up. Making them wait even more will only exacerbate the problem.

These last few weeks, the complacency towards campaigns has been getting worse and worse and I don't know why. I hope everyone reading this realise palestinians have been constantly victims of bombings, shootings, malnutrition and diseases for close to A YEAR now. This should not ellicit apathy at the amount of suffering we're seeing from them everyday but the opposite! We should keep helping even more!

When the US and other western countries are more willing to give weapons to Israel than we are to donate $5 to a palestinian family, what does it say about us?

In any case, if you still care about helping people going through a genocide please consider donating to my friend Mahmoud @mahmoudjumaa1238 . He had to extend his goal to 20k because of the increasingly high living expenses in Gaza and need to get to 15k by the end of September. Since reaching 10k he has been receiving very few donations.
