Happy Tender Tuesday! What Are Your OCs Love Languages And Are They Good At Expressing Them To Their
Happy Tender Tuesday! What are your OCs love languages and are they good at expressing them to their partners?
Thanks for Asking! This is quite a complicated question, now that I think about it.
Raelen & Vallerius: Raelen's love language is probably spending quality time with the ones she loves, especially if it includes either: talking about her favorite subjects, doing something she likes to do such as adventuring or researching old magic, or generally doing something special together, she particularly likes stargazing and little escapades around the cities they travel to. Her love interest and best friend, Vallerius' love language would probably be finding special gifts or new activities to do together, helping her see the world like she had always dreamed of. He wants to be a good friend and show her how special she is to him. (VIBE: Best Friends to Lovers or Idiots in Love)
Ellinor & Nethen: Ellinor's love language is probably respect, acceptance, and comfort, but for who she is, not for her status. She loves Nethen because he is one of the few people that couldn't care less about her title as the lost princess and yet deeply loved her for who she really is, finally treating her as an equal rather than someone above him. Nethen's love language would be to express his emotions deeply and in an unbridled fashion, and to say the things the other needs to hear, even if they are harsh truths, loving her with a burning passion - even when they were both enemies (which is a good chunk of the story and the source of their chemistry), he was still fascinated by her in a healthy way, as a worthy opponent and one of the few people he respected. He also likes sharing his knowledge and feeling the thrill of the chase when they are both playing their games against their common enemies - even if it started as a game against each other when they were on opposite sides. (VIBE: Enemies to Lovers or Battle Couple)
Darian & Tanwin: Darian and Tanwin are where things get complicated. As they spend much of the story not realizing that what they are feeling is because they're actually in love, most of these things come through when they are still "just friends". Darian's love language is being supportive and gentle, helping Tanwin deal with his problems - which, since Tanwin is very emotionally withdrawn, is more than necessary. Tanwin's love language is actions since he does not do emotions very well, and so, instead of expressing himself openly, every action he makes is a testament to his affection - even if he doesn't realize that sometimes. (VIBE: Starcrossed Lovers or Obliviously In Love)
Luciya & Cassander: Luciya's love language is using humor as a way to lift the mood. She is also incredibly nerdy when it comes to knowing new things and can be a hopeless romantic who just wants to go on picnics in the meadows or go to a starlit ball. Cassander's love language is subtle, like his own personality - being a rebel spy, and usually comes in the form of being able to read the other very well and notice her needs in order to make Luciya more comfortable/happy, as well as being very sophisticated in his date choices - which makes Luciya quite starstruck as, being of lowborn status, those things are rare and wondrous moments she gets to experience with the one she loves. Being equal nerds, they also like to spend hours talking over books, tomes, scrolls, and everything else. Luciya often surprises Cass. (VIBES: The Thief and The Spy In Love)
Nadinne & Morwan: The Lady and the Mercenary. Nadinne's love language is probably finding an "equal mind" and partaking in high-level gossip while going on lavish yet simple dates. Morwan, being the utter mercenary queen, likes to indulge Nadinne's dreams of freedom, and perhaps even teach her lady how to fight better - after Nadinne teaches her to dance - and take her to experience the fun of the more shady side of towns, such as tavern crawls. Nadinne is a lady but she also had pirate blood in her veins, so that makes her love Morwan all the more. (VIBE: Not So Forbidden Romance, The Lady and The Fighter)

Happy WBW! Tell me anything about the currency of your world! (It can be about denominations, types, regions it's used in, things like that!)
@writernopal
Thanks for the Ask!
In the continent of Agrannor, there are several different regions and kingdoms, some being under the domain of the Morosyn Empire and the others belonging to the Free Realms.
The most common type of currency in the Free Realms are gold and silver pieces (though less valuable metals such as copper, iron or brass will sometimes be used) whose value is defined by the amount and price of the metal used to make them, and which have a carved symbol of a phoenix-like animal on the coins, but the design and color varies according to the kingdom. They have multiple diffenrent names depending on which kingdom you are in, such as Curiats, Illem, Aureas, etc, but they are mostly refered to as "pieces" or "coin". In some places there are alternative currencies such as trade of goods or services (free work in exchange for desired goods, the type and amount of labour being determined by the vendor according to the price and rarity of the intended product - which is something that is often exploited by said vendors) and the prized precious gems found in the sea beds of Vellamere can more often than not replace common coin. Rare runic amulets are often the currency of choice by the mageborn, though they mostly use the human coins in their daily lives. Adrellios, known as the Golden City, is the richest kingdom of the Free Realms.
The Morosyn Empire has its own currency, which has the royal sygil engraved on it and are often refered to as Aseraphs, in honor of the first Empress Seraphina the Mighty. However, currently, the royal sygil has been replaced by the likeness of the egotistical young Emperor Aerich. Slavery as payment for debts is unfortunaly very common in Imperial lands.
Nomadic human tribes of the northern mountains often practice symbolic trades or direct trades of goods instead of using coin. In the Storm Isles, once traditional and rare currency, intricate coins made out of shards shed by the shells of deep sea monsters became common after the Blood Curse swept through their cities, which led to an economic and social breakdown in which their entire economy had to be rebuilt and the old customs became valuable once more (despite the unfortunate and horrid circumstances that led to it). The Elves have their own unique way paying for things, which is quite often diffenrent from human standards and have not practiced trade with human lands for centuries - in fear of revealing the hidden location of their last kingdoms and because they have retreated from relations with humans since the Empire began hunting them down. Elves do not see value in gold, gemstones or silver, and their currency is usually made of other materials with symbolic or magical value. The Fae, now supposedly extinct, used to trade in secrets, soul binds and knowledge.
