Happy Blorbo Blursday! Do you absentmindedly color code your OCs? Do those colors show up in the writing or only in the categories in your head?

Happy Blorbo Blursday, @oh-no-another-idea! This ask is so absolutely perfect for meee!!!!
Do you absentmindedly color-code your OCs? Do those colors show up in the writing or only in the categories in your head?
YES. So much yes to this! When I'm creating a character I usually assign a certain vibe or aesthetic to them, and that certainly comes with its assigned color-coding. Most times color-coding comes naturally to me as I develop a character's aesthetic, almost as if the character (or my subconscious lmao) is "telling me" what color and vibe they'll have.
I'm a huge fan of symbolism, so, along with the color, the character usually has a symbol, animal, or element I unconsciously assign to them, and it certainly does come up in my writing as a way to distinguish the character's styles.
For example, I associate Rylisan Fenrith from Tales of Wilted Flowers with warm sunlight yellow, soft snowy blue, and polished silver. His symbolism includes owls, blooming/wilted daisies, and shattered pomegranates.
Meanwhile, I associate Prince Archyvel of Sarythea, from Realms of Loss, with deep red, tarnished gold, and charcoal black. His symbolism includes constellations, peacocks, and flowers on a broken crown.

I'll answer this for Tales of Wilted Flowers and Realms of Loss!
Tales of Wilted Flowers:
In Ravaryn there is an amplitude of healers, physicians, alchemists, and apothecaries that can provide an array of medical services, potions, and remedies depending on their area of expertise and the resources available. There are houses of healing, usually sponsored by the nobility, and plenty of independent village healers. Usually, the bigger cities, such as the capitals of Wenhorn, Thysfire, and Allanar have more options and better-established healthcare options, but every village has at least one healer, who oftentimes doubles as a midwife.
Realms of Loss:
In Helvastte things are rather different, as there is a blatant inequality between the Citadels and the smaller provinces - or even more strongly, the neglected Outer Cities. If one gets sick in one of the actual Citadels, there definitely are plenty of houses of healing and physicians who would be willing to help, though symptoms of the blood plague are more harshly dealt with - people can be lucky enough to be sent to the Order of Corvus (plague doctors). or they can simply be killed off and then burned to avoid the spread of their illness. A smaller province or village from within the Walls definitely will have a healer or two, though prices are steep and services more unreliable. Asking local churches, tabernacles, and temples for the blessing of a certain Celestial is also common - and sometimes, the Celestial will prove merciful and save that person, though most times not. Getting sick in the Outer Cities beyond the Walls means one is pretty much screwed unless they're friends with someone who knows basic healing or can afford passage to a village which has a proper healer.
Wednesday is here and that means Worldbuilding Wednesday! I've got an open question for ya'll:
What's healthcare like? Are there clinics? Doctors? Healers? What can a character do if they fall ill, break a bone, have a headache that won't stop?
sorry I missed STS, but for, uhhh, The TProcess Tuesday: what's your early drafting like? Do you use bullet points and placeholder symbols, or do you try to create a full-fledged draft from the get-go?
No need to apologize for missing STS, getting asks is amazing any day of the week! Thanks for the question, @ashen-crest!
My early drafting process is, well, as crazy and messy as it gets I guess, though it has a few specific stages. Most of the time, before I actually begin the true drafting process, I spend a while just working on a huge braindump document, which is by far the messiest part. There, I write everything that I know is going to happen in the story, while also developing the characters, their backstories, and everything else, even writing some disconnected scenes to get the feel of how they would interact.
Then, I move on to my more-or-less organized basic outline (starting from the premise, working out the main internal and external conflicts, and deciding the romantic relationships) which can sometimes devolve into another braindump document, or turn into a well-organized one. I also make a very vague "three-act outline" which mostly consists of the beginning, middle, and end of the story, but with no more details. When that's ready, I make a succinct chapter-by-chapter outline of the basic events/main events that happen within each main chapter.
I also make some character profiles and character-focused documents along the plotting process, as well as make a lot of mood boards and playlists to get myself inspired and get a view of the overall vibe a certain WIP is going to have.
When all this is done, I start actually drafting, which is something I struggle a lot in the beginning stages due to my unceasing perfectionism, though I've learned to let go and just let the story flow into a first draft, after all, even if it means it has to be rewritten later the first draft is meant just to make the story exist. It's less messy than my plotting process, though sometimes I'll use bullet points to skip a scene when I'm not entirely sure what should happen within it. I don't really use placeholder names for characters, as I usually develop them beforehand - otherwise, I have a hard time envisioning them in the scene - but I do sometimes use placeholder names for settings and objects that need to have cool, catchy names later.
