Jealous Tobirama Headcanons

He'd be the overly silent and very brooding type of jealous

It would be a bit harder to tell since grumpy is one of his default looks, jealous or not

He tries not to think about it too much, he hates how it makes him feel and how it leads to him thinking he's doubting you or your loyalty to him

But when things get too much he does become more clingy,, in a sense that he suddenly wants to spend so so much more time with you, even physical affection increases from his side

Which is a bit off coming from him, he's not the one for too much physical affection, especially in public.

He would also try to pry subtly for more information about whoever/whatever made him jealous in the first place, trying to understand the root of his jealousy and maybe soothe it himself but jealousy is often blinding and it makes him feel worse and even more jealous

His clingy needs that stem from jealousy are push-and-pull. One moment he's hugging you and the next he's glaring daggers at you and wants to be left alone in his study

If his jealousy is at it's peak he would definitely be sassy with you too, bordeline rude honestly

It may lead to some banter between the two of you, especially when he hits that sensitive nerve out of the blue

You're more so confused than offended by his suddenly rude manners and demeanour.

And if you made it that far to be in a relationship with Tobirama, you'd be able to piece the puzzle soon enough

So you either confront him about it or wait for him to open up to you with the issue

If you confront him he would deny it at first, the Senju Pout™ obvious the moment you bring it up

"Me? Jealous? No" type of situation

But as you push on more, explaining he has nothing to be jealous of he just sighs and banters with you, feeling free to express his reasoning, but slowly becoming quiet as he sees that it was him being unreasonable.

Avoids eye contact for most of the conversation, tries to brush you off, he won't admit it right away at all that he's jealous. Never .

He is embarassed by how he was blinded by it all while he's known for how logical and calculating he is.

Low-key just go ahead and kiss him, to bring his full focus and soothe him, just- yeah.

Hold him later when you go to bed, pull him into your arms, cuddles before bed or early in the morning are the little things he finds solace in and are very comforting to him.

He doesn't like being too emotionally vulnerable too much, especially with the conversation/discussion fresh in his mind

So you initiating the contact, even if he doesn't return your affections at the moment, makes him feel calm. It really does return him back to earth and grounds him

He'll bring your hands up and kiss them softly, entwining your fingers together

' Too Late '

They both stood facing each other, breathing heavily as the cold downpour soaked them both to the very bone. Both of them red in the face from the cold and the anger. The white haired man was the one with the last words, having cut his beloved off with words that had cut her deeper than any blade ever could. She now stared at him in utter disbelief; it made her wonder if this was her husband speaking at all. Her own anger boiled inside her and ran thick in her veins so much that it blinded her. The cold rain was no match for it, she didn't feel it, she felt nothing at all in truth now. As her expression fell, so did Tobirama's angry look, confusion and shock sparkled in his scarlet eyes for a moment, something she would have missed if she blinked. But her eyes were stuck on him, her jaw clenching as she debated what to do. She turned on her heel slowly before padding away in long strides through the mud and the wet shrubs, leaving the Senju to stand alone in the storm. The thought of him suddenly felt like a bed of nettles and weeds, it made her gut churn and her wound burn, and her walking soon turned into running.

As minutes turned into hours, and hours turned into days, and the mission dragged on to the end, Tobirama had almost fully rid himself the memories of your arguments. He looked forward to returning to the village and your shared home, although he knew the reunion would be sour; you were overreacting, you were being stubborn- he told himself. But it all made him worry, every step he took to the house made all concern suddenly blossom strong, thorny stems hugging his heart tight. Just as he placed his hand on the door handle to open it, he realized that it wasn't locked, it was cracked open for anyone. The storm from days prior was followed by freezing weather and the hall was still wet at the entrance. Cold air hung humid and old inside. The steps Tobirama took grew slower and slower as realization was even slower to hit. His mind could barely process this.

The painting of the two of you was on the floor, faced down, some glass was spread in the kitchen, the bedroom closet was a mess, left in a rush, your things were missing, mainly your clothes and basic necessities. Droplets of blood were splattered everywhere, matte and old. Were you attacked in your own home, he suddenly wondered. No. You were wounded, he remembered.. The smell that wafted was nothing but akin to the wet leaves that were slowly rotting away. There was no letter, no last words, nothing. Now there was only your slowly fading presence left, what used to be of it, still lingering on the walls and dark corners of the rooms as Tobirama dropped to his knees before the painting.
