After almost 7 month I found the energy to work on Portfolio stuff again! Hooray.

But in these 7 month my love for trains and metros did not go away so my first BG is a Metro.

In 2021 I had this amazing opportunity to draw for an amazing fanproject called Project Gaia.

A project that combines the fans love for the Game Horizon Zero Dawn! And these were some of my pieces.

Just a bunch of Sketchbook pages. I currently am experimenting a lot with style. Most of the things you see here used references from Pinterest. (other than that TB Choi page, I was studying her by looking at her work on Insta, trying to figure out how she is using shapelanguage to design her characters).

The first 3 pages are my recent ones while the other 3 are from the last two month.

Art Supplies used:

Some Pencil Colors that I found under my bed while I cleaned my room (it's a wild mix of 10 year old Aldi Pencil colors, Polychromos and these Art Grip colorpencils that Faber Castell manifactured back in the 10's

A moleskine Sketchbook

A noname Mechanical pencil that I found at the dollarstore, a blending stomp, an 8b pencil, a 9B graphite stick. a kneaded eraser, a normal eraser.. and an ungodly amount of coffee!

A wild musicmix of Jack Stauber, Coalter of the Deepers, Roar and some Eurovision tracks. And gaming soundtracks. Obviously.

Last month I did some Animations for some of my favorite Fandoms and one of these f andoms were Omori.

Whenever I listened to "Pogo-Forget" I had Omori in my head so yeah...putting 2 and 2 together , it ended up in this video! I hope you like it!

Today I'd like to share a sketch that I did during a Characterdesign Challenge with my friends.

Every Monday, Wednesday and Friday we get together for one hour to Design Characters based on random words. Sometimes we sit down for 1 Hour , usually for 20 minutes. We even did a 10 Minute challenge one and it was pretty intense but also a lot of fun.

We also set down our goals usually. My personal once are usually to let loose, as I struggled with a big Artblock for the past half year while dealing with finding a job still. (also, if you have a job, I'm still available)

This sketch from down below is based on todays 1h Challenge based on the words "Silent" and "plucky"(which can also be described as brave).

The first Idea that I had in mind was Ninja. They are brave and silent. While sketching I thought "What if I combine traditional Japanese clothing with cyberpunk fashion? What if she is an engineer, working on ..engineering stuff or repair cars and aeroplanes." and then run with that idea. Since she is usually work in her Garage, I thought it might be fitting that she is more introverted and that allowed me to tick of the wod "silent" from the challenge prompt!

I try to come up with a story for her and maybe she will be a portfolio project in the future.

It's my Birthday and since it's annually forgotten by everyone I made it a tradition to draw some Art for myself every year. This year it's a little Miku Card , where Miku sings Happy Birthday to me.
