Doodle to get back into the habit of doing traditional art.

There will come a day where I will make a comic where these two idiots wind up in Equestria. It'll probably be a year or more from now, but it will come.

Back when I was thinking about starting up an illustrated fanfic, it had been a good 5 years since I did any serious drawing, so I found an expression template and did some doodles to try and get down a style and mood for the fic. I wound up changing the style from this, but it was a fun exercise.

My favorite brand of india ink apparently stopped being manufactured, so here's a test doodle trying out a new brand. Sadly it failed the marker test, smudges too much, but it works fine with watercolor.

Man, it took me years to find an india ink I really like, so bummed Holbein discontinued their run.
