YEAH!...
I see a lot of Mane Six redesigns that take the basic concepts of them and then go crazy with it (which is good!! i love those too!!) but I'm more of the type take most of the canon design and just put a more personalized spin on it <:)

Scarab Shine is a contemplative pony of little words. xey speak quietly but with certainty, and are quick to come up with solutions to time sensitive problems. xeir cutie mark represents xeir love for insect taxidermy, which xey are very skilled at and passionate about. xey also know a lot about living insects, and are never afraid to pick them up. Scarab's element of harmony is rationality
Cosmo is a flighty yet adventurous half unicorn half draconequus with limited magic allowing it to float as well as perform several basic spells, similar to non-magic talented unicorns abilities. it has a love for gold accessories and can't resist a good treasure hunt. it is very easy to make Cosmo laugh with delight. Cosmo's element of harmony is whimsy
Lovey Dovey is the strange lovechild of the sun princess and a ponyville mailmare, much to the confusion of the entirety of equestria. Lovey is kind, personable, and very attuned to other ponies problems and worries. his cutie mark shows her adeptness at heart-to-hearts. ponies often find themselves opening up to her without really meaning to, and Lovey always has a suggestion for their woes. Lovey Dovey's element of harmony is empathy
when i was a kid i thought Rainbow Dash, Apple Jack, and Rarity were boys cause i thought the mane 6 were half girls half boys

Her parents are doormats. Her father is an anxious dragon who moved from the Dragon Lands for his health, and her mother is an equally anxious pegasus; both of them have intense fears about ‘contamination from the land’, so they dare not leave Cloudsdale.
They will do absolutely anything to keep the peace, and that included ignoring their daughter’s obvious bullying. Unfortunately, their fears prevented them from ever going to find their daughter when she crash-landed on the surface, and they made peace with having Zephyr Breeze as their only child.
