Lottieshauna/Hannigram Parallels
Lottie seeing the deer VS Will seeing the stag

Lottie forehead scar VS Will forehead scar

Shauna eating loved ones to consume them in their entirety VS Hannibal eating loved ones to preserve them (+ their loved ones dying during the winter)

Shauna ear scene VS Will ear scene

Lottie encouraging Shauna's anger & grief VS Hannibal encouraging Will's anger & need for vengeance

Shauna takes out her anger on Lottie VS Will takes out his anger on a hallucination of Hannibal (and Lottie and Hannibal let them)

+ Shauna and Will’s bloody knuckles in the aftermath as a treat

"Finds nourishment at the very sight of you" line hits harder because Hannibal is a cannibal. Hannibal's normal hunger runs deep and ravenous; he is unsatisfied with conventional meat: He eats human beings. He craves risk, dominance, danger, and beauty. For someone capable of a gaping hunger like this to be satiated with the mere sight of Will???? For someone with so much desire and greed to be satisfied by the M E R E SIGHT of somebody??????????? OTL
"You can't hate Travis because-" fuck you i'm projecting. Let me project.

Me remembering Mistynat isn't canon and they didn't scissor in Nat's musty motel room bed and now Nat is dead so they can't even do it.
anyways i love yellowjackets bc its about GIRLS and WOMEN and the female experience and what that looks like in adolescence vs adulthood, in relation to trauma, in relation to one another, etc. without there being a ton of male characters. very rare and very refreshing
