Q: Map Of The Soul: 7 reflects on the seven years since BTS debuted in 2013. What has been the biggest life and career lessons you’ve learned so far?

Jin: “Thanks to these guys, I think I learned more about music. I didn’t really know a lot about music when I started out, but now I’ve learned how to write music or make melodies. That’s what I really got out of the past seven years, thanks to these guys.”

When Jin was cast to debut as an artist, he wasn’t a singer nor a dancer, nor he knew how to write or produce songs. 7 years later, he is a producer, a dancer and a phenomenal singer. And rather than recognizing that all these things were possible thanks to his hard work, he thanks his members who are younger than him for teaching him well. Indeed, we stan a humble and wondrous legend.
