I’m v much thinking about this 24/7 (since I’m SHORT as in barely over 5ft) so it’s goofy. Me thinks that if Satan could (prolly Mammon already has) and WOULD hold MC up, Simba style.

But throw in the HC that demons have inhuman heights/ Humans are just really fucking small. I remember reading another HC with like Asmo being the shortest at like 6 or 7 feet meanwhile everyone else is about to hit almost 9

How the demon brothers react to MC being a lot shorter then them

Lucifer:

He loves it, he knew from when he first saw you that he could easily make you submit to him. He was wrong, it shocked him the first time the tiny human stood up to him, whether it was in an argument or playing a prank on him with Satan. He also teases you all the time when you can’t reach things but instantly regrets it when you find the most ridiculous and dangerous way to reach what you need. If you hurt yourself when trying to reach something he will scold you while patching you up. He also purposefully puts things on the top shelf so he can come up behind you and grab it for you, he will NEVER admit to it though. He is always the big spoon, he absolutely can’t get enough of holding your smaller body in his arms and listening to your soft breathing.

Mammon:

When he is told to protect you his first reaction was something along the lines of

“Eh!? It’s so tiny what if I loose it!?”

He did, he has lost you quite a few times, panicking every single time until he finds you. He teased you all the fucking time, way more then any of his brothers, but somehow he is really bad at teasing you, it often turns into him complimenting you then becoming flustered himself “Yer so small human! How do ya’ do anything because of yer height? I didn’t know humans could be so adorably small! What? I-I didn’t say anything stupid human! Of course you wish to be complimented by the Great Mammon! Oh- would you look at the time I need to go take Levi out on a walk” *runs away* He likes when you curl up agains his chest because he is able to embrace every part of you effectively.

Leviathan:

You’re like his own Ruri~Chan!! He makes you cosplay as her so he can have his own Ruri whenever he so desires, sometimes he cosplay with you and makes you watch every bit of lore from the series so you can most accurately represent her. He thinks that you are simply the cutest thing ever, he tries to get you to cosplay a bunch of different shorter characters with him and do photo shoots as them. He doesn’t tease very often but if he is in a mood he can sometimes take teasing a bit too far but always feels bad about it after, also his teasing is often very… lame, nothing too overly insulting when he is normally teasing and you usually just end up laughing at his attempt. No matter your height he will almost always be the little spoon, he loves cuddling against you at night.

Satan:

He at first thought nothing of your height, your a human, your height just makes you weaker. Boy was he wrong, as he started to get to know you he took notice to how you were more like a feral cat than a weak human. He will often try to calm you down by petting your head, if you act like a feral cat, he can treat you like a cat, fairs fair! If you are trying to reach a high place he will sit back and watch you struggle for a while before grabbing it for you and holding it above arms reach for a while until you tire enough to curl up in his lap while he reads to you. He loves when you come to his room at night and he reads you to sleep while you lay against him or on his lap and your height makes it so much easier to do that. He is the big spoon without a doubt, he LOVES when you fall asleep in his arms while he reads to you.

Asmo:

You are so cute!!! He wants to dress you up like his own little mannequin (in a good way) he likes to put you in huge platform boots because he thinks not only do they look adorable on you but it will help you get around better in a house full of tall ass demons. He almost never teases you about your height because he doesn’t really care about it, he loves you for you and doesn’t really take much notice to your height when it’s not the topic of conversation. He doesn’t care how you two rest together, he loves to be touching you at all times so as long as his hands are somewhere on your boy he is content and happy.

Beelzebub:

He LOVESSSS your height, like he literally will carry you everywhere, give you piggyback rides, anything for you. One time you were trying to get a plate from the cabinet but couldn’t reach it so he just grabbed your waist and lifted you to your goal. He also has you sit on his back while doing push-ups because regular push-ups were too easy for him. He loves being able to loom over you, it makes him feel like he is protecting you while not being too threatening. He is the big spoon, I think that goes without saying, he likes to wrap his arms around you and hold you as close as possible.

Belphie:

Will you cuddle with him? Yes? Okay then he loves you, he doesn’t really care for height as long as you sleep with him (not sexually) he will tease the shit out of you if you can’t reach something though, and he will be brutal about it, though if he makes you cry or angry he will feel bad and ask to cuddle while he takes a nap afterward. He also likes to pet your head when you are angry, he never knows what the outcome of that action will be, will you calm down and lean into his hand? Or will you growl and bite him? It’s honestly a fifty fifty shot, but he thinks it is worth the risk. He doesn’t care, he just wants to cuddle while he sleeps, he will often wrap all his limbs around you and cling to you all night… or day.

author note: I’m baaack! It feels good to finally write again. Not anything long, but just some good ol’ slice of life headcanons with the fish mafia (who i think I’m currently obsessed with??) maybe I’ll write more about this, like a small drabble of jellyfish!reader finally remembering Azul or something pfft. (He never gets those papers either because you forget why you have them in the first place…)

Azul would never admit it out loud, but he was excited when he learned a fellow invertebrate would be joining Octavinelle. You’d be able to relate to each other, no? Another mer with several appendages who prefers to swim slowly. A perfect match.

Except you are apparently impervious to his charms, and your blank stare haunts him.

Like hello, this is your Housewarden speaking. Anybody home? Do you remember him? … No? You can’t remember him but you remember the twins? Of course you do. Of course.

On the bright side for Azul, your empty headedness makes you deliciously easy to scam.

In fact, he doesn’t even need to manipulate you into a contract. You’re more than happy to stand sweetly, holding some leaflets promoting the Monstro Lounge’s new special menu, or to stand aimlessly at the door, helping to attract clientele.

Jade Leech

Apart from the amusement he got from Azul’s suffering, Jade wasn’t really interested in you at first.

Nothing against you, of course. He just didn’t find you very interesting.

However, that all changed when you visited his booth during the culture fair and stared dreamily into his terrariums.

Jade was absolutely delighted to tell you all about each of his terrariums and even about his foraging in the mountains. You stayed until Jade had to leave for his Monstro Lounge duties, and even then he was reluctant to disturb you.

You also won his first guest prize mystery mushroom too!

He found it utterly adorable when he found you still carrying it around in your hands later during the culture fair, cupped delicately like a precious item.

Inevitably, you and Jade fell into an arrangement where he’d talk your ears off about everything mountain and mushroom, and he’d let you view his updated terrariums.

He was fully aware you weren’t retaining any of the information he was assailing you with, but you served well as an outlet for him to talk about his hobby, as Floyd was uninterested, and it charmed him that you stared so happily at his terrariums, his work of arts, that he allowed himself to indulge.

But you surprised him one day (no easy feat!). Jade was once again pitching some mushroom dishes for the Monstro Lounge menu to Azul, with some mushrooms for illustrative purposes.

When Azul handled one of the mushrooms with disdain, asking what exactly this was, you suddenly piped up before Jade could.

“That’s a chanterelle mushroom. They work well sautéed… And in cream sauces.” Cue shocked Jade and Azul.

Low-key Azul is fuming because how can you remember that but not him??

Jade never imagined you would retain any of what he told you, being airheaded was in your nature after all. So he was touched, charmed in fact that you could recall some facts about a mushroom on sight.

He recovered from his shock quickly with a large toothy grin, capitalising on Azul’s shock to launch another sales pitch.

Your fate was sealed, he definitely would be taking you along on his next mountain walk.

Floyd Leech

Oh he just loves you, jellyfish! So cute, sweet and squishy!

You are one of Floyd’s favourite people to squeeze. He can squeeze you as hard as he likes, and you don’t even flinch!

It is guaranteed that if he catches sight of you on campus, he is charging over to you to wrap his arms around you, squeezing and throwing you around with exuberance. Onlookers look on in horror as you just give a ditzy smile.

But as a result of Floyd’s constant manhandling of you, it means he sometimes accidentally touches your skin and gets stung.

Resulting in multiple trips to the infirmary. But don’t worry, Floyd doesn’t get mad about it. In fact, some swear that he likes it.

By this point, it’s happened so often that Floyd is likely building up a bit of resistance to your venom.

Now, Floyd tends to sometimes be a bit… Overprotective of you.

Seven forbid he feel that someone is bothering or messing with you. He’ll be behind you in a flash, an arm thrown around your shoulder and sharp teeth bared in a snarl.

“Nee… What do you want with my jelly, huh?”

If the other students thought you were an easy mark before, they think twice now with your guard eel lurking about.

Jade and Azul like to keep you in the Lounge when Floyd is having a bad mood day, as your presence tends to keep him from wandering off and help salvage some productivity.

Azul is even willing to waive the loitering rule if that means Floyd will stay in the lounge and do some work.

It doesn’t always work, mind. Sometimes Floyd just ends up laying across you in a booth and ignoring his duties. But Azul will take what he can get, at least he is there in case there are any troublesome clientele.
