i cannot possibly be the first person who has had this idea

The way conservatives will just flat out lie and deny reality is just so fucking mind boggling.

I've been seeing them claiming that Project 2025 isn't real, that it's been "debunked," or that it's a Democrat project, even though you can go to its very website and see that it's very real and has everything to do with the far right.

And now I was just watching a video on this heat wave, and the comments were full of people saying stuff like "Um, it's called SUMMER" and complaining about the climate change agenda. Meanwhile, I'm old enough to remember when this kind of heat wasn't normal. I'm old enough to remember how summer temperatures have slowly been growing warmer over the years. Watching these people just lie and deny events that they themselves have also lived through is just surreal.
