Is it just me or does the 'um actually ☝️' response thing that's been going on just feel like embarrassment humor? It's like 'oh you know this fact and wanna talk about it? Well imma make fun of that and mock you so you don't want to do it'. Like it could just be how I'm seeing people ik personally do it, but it genuinely feels like trying to embarrass people out of sharing facts. Someone lmk if the people in my life are just using it wrong and I'm misinterpreting the trend.

please please PLEASE don't say "epilepsy tw" or "seizure warning" or anything like that!!! we use epilepsy tags to talk about our experiences with epilepsy and tagging things like this will make these flashing gifs appear in those tags! please say "flashing tw" or "flashing gif" instead please. "eye strain" is good too for pictures with intense colours. thank you. please signal boost if you can!

I think that's the point. The reason catra is so happy is because of the power she holds there, and catra uses power to manipulate and bully. She also gains power through these two actions. Mainly bc that's what she has seen power been used for. Ofc with her redemption arc she stops, and becomes more sassy than mean. But for the sake of catra in this scene, I will remind you that the lady started the fight with catra.

i don't understand why this is supposed to be so funny. this is one part of this episode that i did not like. catra is finally happy in the crimson waste, but she still can't go a day without bullying or abusing someone. it just feels mean-spirited.

Idk what it is but people really fascinate me when they ask about my epilepsy.

Everyone always seems so nervous and unsure when they ask questions about it, backtrack and are like “would it be okay to ask…” “you don’t have to answer!” “I’m sorry if I’m crossing a boundary!”

Boy the more you ask me about it, the better I feel.

You’re curious and want to know about it. I’m happy to tell you about it. This way you’re aware of what it is, what it’s like, what my triggers are, all the stuff.

I wear a pin on my work uniform that says I have epilepsy, just as a precaution in case anything happens. If I wasn’t comfortable with telling you about it, I sure wouldn’t wear it.

It’s weird that it makes me happy when people ask.

I'm not making excuses for reblogging and sharing what's happening in gaza. people are being murdered and i won't stand silent. yes, i know social media is the place to escape reality for a lot of people (including myself), but these are human lives we're talking about. yes, it makes you sad.
