More Posts from Nestingomega
Do you have any head cannons about alphas helping their omegas with their nest?
• Alphas wanting to surprise their Omegas and building them all sorts of wooden frames for their nests. Igloos, tents, little doll house looking ones, literal human-sized bird nests, and for the funny ones a dog house.
• “Here hold this for me” they said, “just for an instant” they said. The Alpha stands there with their arms numb from holding so many blankets and pillows and quilts for too long, waiting patiently for their Omega to just please decide where that other thing will go so they can go back to feeling their limbs again.
• Long distance relationships or Alphas that are absent for a determined period of time, unable to physically nest along with their Omega, sometimes will send them nesting packs. Which are nests supplies they chose themselves and may have scented before-hand. This way the Omega and the Alpha can still feel like they can be close even far away.
• These packs sometimes coming with instructions on where to put the things or how to arrange them. Sometimes just because the Omega wanted to be in a nest planned carefully by their mate, other times because they can contain other types of messeges. Many Omegas received marriege proposals through these. A ring inside a pillow of carefully concealed with a stuffed animal, covers with invisible ink that once exposed to light in the darkness read messegs like “will you marry me?” or “nest with me forever?”.
• Alpha parents absolutely adore to help with their pup’s nesting. It’s all extra soft, extra sweet scenting and seeing their kids having fun with something they helped with, specially something so personal and delicate like a nest, is just utterly joyful to them.
• Same goes for siblings. You think it’s confusing and overwhelming trying to choose the correct type of pads your sister needs in her period as a boy? Try being an Alpha looking at the millions of options for nesting supplies when their siblings are in a unforsought heat and need them and trying really hard not to screw up.
• Well I guess the above can also be applied to parents, boyfriends and husbands as well lol Supply choosing is really tricky for Alphas because doing that without any clue on which is a yes and which is a no is like playing mine. Far too many invisible variables they may not be aware of.
• And ofc, little Alphas meaning to help their Omega friends to nest, digging holes in their backyard sp the Omega can nest in. Needless to say parents were not pleased.
Do you have any nesting headcanons?
Anonymous said to otaku-omegaverse: Can nests be entire rooms and smaller spaces?
I think I’ll answer both in this post hope that’s chill! Headcanons here we go.
Omegaverse Nesting Headcanons:Â
-I love the idea of more omega fitted houses to have nesting rooms that are like big closets or small rooms where an omega doesn’t have to worry so much about cleaning up their nest or other people tripping over it so easily.
-Omegas always nest during heats to help give themselves some sort of comfort during this  time of the month. The heat and softness from the assortment of pillows, blankets, plushies, and whatever soft object they get their hands on helps to stimulate a similar feeling of being given affection by a mate and give relief to some possible cramping.Â
-Omegas also sometimes nest during times they’re dealing with stress or some other intense negative emotion. It mainly depends on the omega though on what exactly brings them to nest.Â
-A omega’s nest is their ultimate safe spot so they will be very protective of that and if some intruder that they have the faintest distaste for would get near it or try to mess with their nest an omega will hiss and possibly go semi-feral at such actions if it’s someone they dislike to a high degree.Â
-Only those that a omega trusts the most (family, close friends, their mate, their pups) can go near their nest and be forgiven if they happen to mess something up accidently.
-Mated omegas will often steal their mate’s clothing (usually jackets and shirts but the pervier and more bold sort will steal underwear).
-Omegas will usually bring in what they enjoy doing the most at home into their nest such as books, gaming devices, drawing supplies, etc.Â
-Omegas usually start nesting at a more younger age such as 8-9 if they have a omega parent or one of their pack members has a omega parent who does. Mainly because they want to be more like their mother or show how good they are at being a omega. I certainly do!Â

What’s my Perfect Nest?
My perfect nest is this one!

The reason why is because I love floor beds! I also love air diffusers which I would put my favorite scent in. I love the blanket and all the pillows. The crisp white background and then all the beautiful green in the room would make me feel comfortable and very safe. Even with that comforter, I would a few more blankets to it.🌿
