Help save an infant's life!!
We're almost at the year mark for the current Israeli aggression, and my friend Dina ( @dina-my-family ) has been living in a tent with her two young children for this entire time. Her oldest, a beautiful little girl, is 2 years old, and her son, a miracle of life brought into the world in the midst of war, is under a year old.
Her family has been displaced several times, and she's had to run from bombings with her terrified children. Dina's had little access to medical care for herself and her children, including when she was pregnant, and it's difficult for them to get food and water. On top of this, their tent provides little protection from the elements, and with winter coming, the cold will be incredibly dangerous.
Recently, her little son has developed a fever, and we are both scared for him. She needs medicine to help him get better, but as most things in Gaza, the medicine is incredibly expensive. It's incredibly URGENT that she is able to get proper care for her son, a fever can be so so dangerous if left untreated.
All Dina wants is for her children to be safe and happy again.
Her campaign has been struggling terribly, and it's difficult for her to hold onto this dream. Her children deserve better lives, Dina deserves a better life. Her campaign is their only way to achieve this. She NEEDS your help and your continued support to see the campaign completed. My heart can't stand seeing her campaign continuously go ignored. Today I am telling you my story and I am unable to walk on my feet
Early in the morning my mother asked me to take her to the bathroom and be with her. The bathroom was about 10 meters away from our tent. I was in a hurry because my mother has diabetes and cannot hold her urine. I helped her until she reached the bathroom. Before we reached the bathroom, the ground was wet and the ground was muddy in the camp.
My foot slipped and my mother almost fell, but she was holding on to the bathroom door which was barely fixed and I tried to get up but she couldn't stand on my feet because of the sprain I had caused due to the wet ground from the rain water and I was afraid that my mother would slip with me and something bad would happen to her but God saved her and I called my brothers and they helped me stand and I waited until the medical point opened and they prescribed me the treatment but they didn't have the treatment and they advised me to rest completely please stop this war I am unable to move until I recover from my mother and father so help them please help me support my campaign

An Update on Reema’s Fundraiser

They’ve been displaced multiple times within Gaza, and Reema herself has suffered from hypotension (low blood pressure) which is life-threatening in the best of situations. In Gaza where medical supplies and clean drinking water is lacking, it’s critical.

Help Maryams Family Reach Safety
Each day that the occupation continues is another day that Palestinians will need our help and support to see their land and people freed. I know you have seen many posts like this, but please, I ask you to take a moment out of your day to stop and read this one. Yusra and her family need your help. 🙏
Yusra is a mother, and wants to get her and her daughter Maryam out of Gaza and into Egypt to be able to rebuild their lives. Her daughter was doing very well in school and had dreams and wishes for her life. Yusra was working hard, you can see her work in these pictures, to create a stable life for herself and her daughter.
Yusra and Maryam are now forced to live in fear, first fleeing to Yusra's parents' home, then to multiple shelters, and being displaced to Rafah and most recently to Khan Younis. The family has been displaced four times in total, and under conditions where they have limited access to water, food, power, and internet, and while under the threat and fear of bombing and Israeli attacks.
Can you imagine living with no access to basic necessities, while being terrified that you may not see tomorrow? Knowing that your child isn't safe, but being powerless to protect her? What crime have Yusra and Maryam committed? Any human being can recognize this injustice. Let your anger move you to make a difference, and contribute to Yusra's campaign. It's completely unbelievable to me that so many people still don't understand the background of the genocide in Palestine. What kind of journalists or influencers do we have today? Are they too afraid to report and remind their audiences about the real story behind what's happening now? No, it's not just one year of suffering! It's outrageous how the media consistently ignores what Palestinians have been enduring for decades. Have they, or you, even bothered to look at the statistics of how many Palestinians have been killed by Israel since 1948? How many children have been killed? Who holds the responsibility for what's happening now? I often wonder: what if the situation Palestinians face was applied somewhere else? For example, what if, after World War II, the West had decided that all Jews should have a state in the USA—let’s say Chicago—how would the people of Chicago have reacted? Imagine the people there being driven off the land their families had worked for generations, stripped of their rights, and harassed or persecuted if they resisted. Do international laws simply not apply when ### is involved? Do you know that people in Gaza are killed simply for fun? Yes, for fun! Israeli soldiers have been known to shoot women, children, and even animals on the spot, then walk away. Did you feel the wind when those shots were fired? Or was it too far away for you? Do you understand what death means? Good. Do you know why there are so many Palestinians living in different countries, or maybe even right next door to you, even though they smell like hummus, garlic, za'atar, and other traditional foods? Do you know why your neighbors are Palestinian and not Israeli? It's because we've been forced to flee since 1948. Our cities were erased then, and more are still being erased—through violence, through apartheid laws, through genocide, through different methods. Ilan Pappe, an Israeli historian, wrote a book about hundreds of Palestinian cities that were erased to create the Israel you know today. This isn't a war that started a few days ago or even a year ago—this has been going on since at least 1948. More than 45,000 have been killed in Gaza just in the past year alone. 17 000 of them are children, and 13 000 are women. Do you even know what that means? How it feels to lose your children or part of your family? Are you going to tell us how it feels? Do you have no empathy? Is your heart so closed that you can't see the pain around you? Are you really so blind to the suffering of others? How can you ignore these realities? Do you know that the Israeli military has cut off all electricity and completely halted the import of food, water, fuel, and other necessities? There are no hospitals and no medicines left, and 85% of people in Gaza are living in makeshift tents. Yes, tents—but not like the ones you see in movies. These are handmade from plastic scraps. Do you know that my family is suffering from all of this, and I will lose them in this cold weather if you don't act now? Please help us and donate now!

Hello, I'm Ola, a graduate student from the faculty of science - Al-Azhar University in Gaza Palestine. I truly appreciate you taking a moment to read my story. As you reading my message, myself and my family, “my mother, father, three sisters, and my little brother,” are fighting death in northern Gaza and trying to survive under all kinds of suffering including but not limited to fear, instability, and starvation, thirst, and poverty.
For 11 months until now, we have been struggling to get proper food after prices increased by 15 to 20 times, struggling to have clean water for use and drinking. We lacked security and stability as we were forced to evacuate our house and left everything behind.

The first night after my beloved's death💔
I didn't expect to have the courage to talk about my greatest losses in this war. Yes, I live in an Arab society that is cold to love, but that didn't stop me from falling in love with Moatasem. Three hundred and a few days. I don't really know the other numbers, but what I know is that time has stopped for me since Moatasem's death. How did I react to hearing the news of his death? Silence, only silence and denial. Yes, I denied his death. I denied that he left me and departed. I denied that he broke his promises to me about our future together. He left me alone. He left me with the dreams we wove together about our life and our children. He left me drowning in our conversations and dreams.
I still remember your words to me and your opinion on painting our house and furnishing our house. You used to share with me, my dear, every detail of our life, and now you have left me alone. Israel killed my beloved for no reason. It killed him brutally and took my soul with him. I can never accept this reality. I can't accept that his body is still under the rubble for four months. Israel deprived me of a last farewell look at him. I can't forgive you because you left me alone. I wish I had died with you. You left me alone. You told me that we would travel together. You promised to show me whales because you know that I love them. You promised to fulfill all my dreams. But what? You left me. In the end, my pain is indescribable. All I wish for is to say goodbye and see you one last time. I will leave Gaza. I will leave this land where my beloved is buried without saying goodbye to him, without taking one last look at him. Moatasem, I love you very, very much. I hope that the Zionists will suffer all kinds of slow death and make their loved ones feel the same as I felt. Damn this unjust world. I am not forcing you to do anything. I created this campaign to escape from the land of death. I want to escape from the hatred of the Zionists.
