It's so sad how Adora is spiraling in this scene, actually believing that Catra turning more "evil" and the attack on Bright Moon are her fault. Shadow Weaver really messed her up. Poor bebe 🥺

But then Glimmer tries to comfort her by hugging her

It's such a sweet and caring way to stop the negative self-talk. Additionally, rational arguments probably wouldn't work, so she just expresses her affection.

It's so, so intimate: Glimmer's head rests against Adora's chest, she's probably hearing her upset heartbeat right now. In this moment, Adora visibly calms down. In the show, Glimmer tells Adora "You got this and we got your back", which is very sweet.

But the embrace alone conveys so much love, trust and unterstanding that even without the dialogue, the message would still be clear:

I love you

I'm here

Can we just talk about how in the scene where Vi is hurt and Caitlyn tries to calm her down with the “easy, easy, easy…” . She wants to comfort Vi so bad from her despair, so she brushes her thumb over her face in such subtle, tender, caring way to sooth her. But, in the process she herself loses focus as soon as her eyes meets Vi’s and just then, Vi starts actually calming down, when she finds Caitlyn’s eyes looking into hers. I feel like that’s the moment that internally they were both like “oh…”.

This scene is so touching.

You have Bow, a male character, being open and emotional with his feelings. And then there’s Glimmer who is the one comforting him.

This one scene honestly just captures why I love this show so much. There’s so much love and friendship here.
