Here’s a young Ursa suggested by @27league , thank you for suggesting! Since Ursa already made a teen appearance in the canon comic, I thought I’ll draw him as a child (probably around Kiyi’s age)

She’s holding blue hydrangeas, commonly seen in Japan, since Hira’a is based on Japanese settled Hawaiian villages, I thought I’ll use that :p

I know a lot of fans hate Ursa for her attitude towards Azula and abandoning her children. Having a sudden environmental change and forced to marry someone you do not love is really hard, not to mention it’s an abusive relationship too, although what she did to her children is unforgiving, I do think deep down she is a good mother and loves her children, but things change, and life never really goes easy. At the very beginning, no one is born a monster. 

Blue hydrangeas means frigidity and apology, the flower itself is poisonous if ingested. I think that kinda sums up Ursa’s experience.

Sorry for unable to post stuff consistently, school work’s been kinda hectic, luckily I’ll have 10 days of Easter holiday, so maybe I’ll post 2-3 times a week from now on.
