Entrapta and Hordak’s relationship is one of the healthiest and most respectful relationships I’ve seen in this sort of shows. They respect and understand each other better than anyone else does. They communicate in the same language and respect each other’s boundaries. She loves him with all of his flaws not despite them and never attempts to change him into what she thinks would be better. (pr 1/2)

(pt. 2/2 )He respects her, gives her the credit she is due, admires her work and ultimately is willing to delay his life’s work indefinitely (until it’s perfect) to remain at her side. He breaks from his conditioning and the abuse of his big brother/maker/god because he does not want to hurt her. Why do people hate this ship so much?

i love how madara has this like genuine respect for other ninjas with greater powers than him like he admires hashirama so much for his powers and u never once see him resent him for being stronger than him. hashirama is also just generally very special to him i guess but with gai too like he was like "wow! ur tai jutsu, damn gorl. that was amazing, u got any more of that? 😏" jcfddg like madara is pretty conceited about his own powers too like he basically thinks he's god at that point but it still doesnt bother him to acknowledge other peoples' powers. he's got like a genuine respect for the craft i guess, he's like: gotta give credit where credit is due

Anyway, the reason why I’m partial to Entrapdak is because I’m an autistic woman who struggles with love and relationships. It’s so hard to be able to put myself out there because so often, autistic people are seen as childish or annoying. We’re not necessarily portrayed as the most desirable…

But with Entrapdak, you have an autistic woman who is readily accepted by her love interest, who doesn’t think she’s annoying or childish and actually values her intelligence and work. Entrapta doesn’t have to change herself to be desirable to Hordak, she doesn’t have to be different, and he doesn’t yell at her for being herself and he certainly doesn’t leash her either. 

It’s…. comforting. I acknowledge that they’re not exactly the bad guys (Entrapta is morally grey [imo] which I think is very sexy of her actually) but that doesn’t mean that the love between them is…. lesser because of it. Hordak and Entrapta went out of their way to learn and adapt to each other, never asked each other to change and their romance was extremely healthy and well developed as a result of it. They did nothing to harm each other and actually cared about each other’s well being. 

That’s something I’ve always wanted to see in media. As an autistic woman, being able to watch a healthy romance with no conditions to it was really important to me.
