The Ladies: Queen!

Queen: Hey what’s going on? Why are ya’ll crowded around? 

Lili: Diamond came in here ranting and raving again. She keeps saying we aren’t dancing enough. Profits are down. The clients are unhappy. All this nonsense which is mighty interesting since none of my clients are saying that. 

Mo: My clients are very unhappy with her, not us. They said she raised the prices again for the third time this month. 

Queen: Raised what prices? 

Lili: Over at the bar. The drinks are $10 more and watered way down. It took me 5 drinks to get drunk. She is even trying to cut the janitorial job to make us clean. 

Queen: What the heck. I don’t have access to the reports anymore. She locked me out. I can’t see what is going on and I just fought her last week, so you already know we are on real bad terms. 

Mo: What does Jermaine say?

Queen rolls her eyes. 

Queen: I will get to the bottom of it. 

Mo: I hope so soon, or I will stop dancing too. That will really piss her off.

Lili: Maybe we can strike? 

Sydney: Maybe our clients can strike with us to really send a message. She is not only abusing us, but also the clients. 

Queen: Ladies! Let me think on it and get back to you. Do not do anything crazy until I give the word ok? 

Lili: She is messing with my rent money. I can not afford to be homeless. 

Queen: Let me figure it out. Can one of you distract her so I can get into the office? 

Mo: I got you. 

Queen: Thanks! 

Queen heads back to the office. 

Diamond catches Queen and Jermaine in bed at the club. Conclusion

Diamond stands in the bathroom mirror just completely shattered. He lied to her face again. It is safe to say that their whole relationship has been a lie. Jermaine is in the living room calling her name. He wants to know what is going on. Through Diamond’s sadness and rage, she feels so stuck. She doesn’t know what to do. She loves this man. Diamond washes her face again and walks back into the living room. 

Jermaine: Babe - 

Diamond: Shut up! 

Jermaine is startled with Diamond’s aggressive tone. He sits back on the couch and gazes into her eyes. He searches for the answers before she even says anything. Diamond takes a deep breath and begins speaking. Her voice is still shaky. 

Diamond: Last night I arrived at the club hoping to meet with you. We are supposed to be working on these reports. You are my partner - 

Jermaine: I know and I was at home working on the report’s babe 

Jermaine cuts Diamond off to spew more lies. Diamond walks towards the kitchen briefly to calm herself down and comes back. 

Diamond: Can you PLEASE stop interrupting me with your lies! 

Jermaine: Lies? 

Diamond: Yes, your lies. 

Jermaine throws his hands up and goes to say something else. Diamond crosses her arms and gives him a look, so he knows she is serious. Jermaine relaxes his hands and apologizes. He gestures that he will be quiet by zipping his lips. Diamond stands in silence for a few minutes, staring at Jermaine. He sits there with a puzzled, clueless expression. 

Diamond: I went looking for you. In the club. I didn’t see you or Queen out front. 

Diamond pauses and stares into Jermaine’s eyes. She scans his face searching for his realization that she knows the truth. It takes him a few minutes, but he realizes and sits forward on the couch. 

Diamond: I saw you with her Jermaine. I stood in the doorway for almost an hour, and you never looked up Jermaine. Do you love her? 

Jermaine’s expression changed from puzzled to now panic. His livelihood is based on Diamond giving him a job. He has nothing without her. He stays quiet and waits for Diamond’s que to speak. Diamond continues to stare at Jermaine in disappointment. 

Diamond: You know, I don’t even want to hear what you have to say. My heart can’t take it. Your actions spoke for you. I am so angry right now. I am so hurt. I can call you all kind of names right now and I can push you out of my 5-story apartment. I have been crying all f*cking night and I am tired. That stupid look on your face is all the confirmation I need. I saw you! You enjoyed her! She enjoyed you. But I am your girlfriend. I got you this job. I pay your bills. I put those clothes on your back. I feed you. I love you. I do everything for you, and you spit in my face and go lay with a dirty ass f*cking stripper?! You lay in my bed every night like all is well. Who knows how many women you sleep with at that club. Get OUT of my house. I will call you when I am ready and do NOT return to the club. 

Jermaine sits on the couch in disbelief. How could he be so careless. He forgot to check the door. The door must have been unlocked. He is a s*x addict and unfortunately Queen isn’t the only one, but she is the one he got caught with. He wonders will Diamond still pay his bills. He gets up from the couch hanging his head low. He messed up bad and now his future is in jeopardy. 

As soon as Jermaine closes the front door, Diamond drops to her knees. She becomes upset all over again. She can’t stop crying. But she knows that this time she can’t go back to Jermaine. He has cheated in the past but sleeping with stripper is not the answer. That is unforgiveable as well as dirty. She thinks about everything that has happened and ends up falling asleep on her living room floor from exhaustion. Her life is about to take a drastic turn again.

Jermaine: Can we talk?

Queen: Hell no. Your b*tch is in the backroom tripping. I don’t do love triangles. 

Jermaine: I didn’t know she was going to show up at my place! 

Queen: You are a liar. She was blowing up your phone. Like seriously. I do not have time for this. You can leave. 

Jermaine: I will take care of it. Please 

Queen: Don’t go begging me fool. You need to go take care of her. 

Jermaine: I will talk to her. But my job is on the line here. Can you please keep your cool?

Queen: Why are you talking to ME? This is MY club. You came into MY space. I don’t have to keep my cool. I should have the both of you arrested for harassment. Like I haven’t seen any paperwork on this fake ass investigation. Like what’s really going on?!

Jermaine: Can you stop yelling? I said I will take care of it. You don’t have to do all of that ok? 

Queen: She keeps coming for me. I go to the back, here she comes. I go to the bathroom, here she comes. I am on stage; she is giving me a death stare. What you two have going on has nothing to do with me. If you are lying to your girl that’s on you. But guess what, today was your LAST day touching me. You are no longer my client. I am DONE. 

Jermaine: Diamond and I are a couple, but we aren’t serious. Like I -

Queen: I didn’t ask you about your personal life when I accepted you as a client. I was wrong to go to your house. I don’t do drama. Don’t try to explain anything to me. Just please leave me alone. Stay away from me. 

Jermaine: I promise I am going to fix this! 

Queen cuts him off and walks out of the room. She heads to the backroom where Tori is hanging out. This drama that Jermaine has brought into her life has caused her so much stress. She doesn’t want to allow it to affect her business anymore so she decides to cut Jermaine off. Tensions are high in the club since Diamond caught Queen and Jermaine together. The tax investigation has been slow.

Jermaine can’t commit to Diamond because his head is in other places. He doesn’t plan to settle down with Diamond. In fact, when he leaves Diamond, he heads to the night club to entertain the ladies. He is a ladies’ man. This club is the very place Diamond is going to be working. But she doesn’t know that. Jermaine sleeps with all 12 dancers at the club every night. He is insatiable. Diamond is a beautiful woman, but she doesn’t satisfy his needs. She is always working and doesn’t have time for him. Jermaine doesn’t work anywhere.

 He relies solely on Diamond for financial support. He doesn’t want Diamond living with him because after he leaves the club, many of the ladies join him at his townhouse for “more entertainment”.  Diamond finding out about his extracurricular activities would ruin his financial stability. He is now on a journey to help her run the club and keep his activities secret. Jermaine has been briefing the ladies about Diamond so they not to make any advances at him while she is there at the club. 

Jermaine is also a client to Queen who is the owner of the night club. Queen is a firecracker and will never lay down without a fight. She is absolutely furious that Jermaine is now her new boss at the club. He tries to reassure her that he didn’t know but she doesn’t believe him. They begin butting heads. Jermaine fears, Queen will use their night club relationship as a way to get rid of Diamond. This in turn will ruin his arrangements. He is a bum. Flat out. He doesn’t work. This love triangle will not end well.

Logan and Queen talk - throwback - pt 3

Logan: Did you sleep with her man? Why would she say that? 

Queen looks up at Logan and twirls her fingers for a few seconds. 

Logan: Queen? 

Queen: This is just between us. 

Logan: Sure.

Queen: I am a dancer. This is what I do. This is business. Her man, Jermaine is our new manager/finance guy. But she doesn’t know he is here every freaking night with the ladies. As a client! 

Logan: What?! Does she know? 

Queen: She doesn’t! She struts around here like they are going to get married. He doesn’t want to be her husband. He has an addiction. Every dancer in here has had him but I guess because she hates me, she is blaming me.

Logan: Oh yea? 

Queen: I have had him. Yes. He is my client. It is only business. But if she finds out, she may try something crazy. 

Logan: So what are you going to - 

Queen’s phone rings...

Queen: Hello.... huh..... I’m in the room.... she what?... alright.... I’m coming. 

Queen: Diamond is out there looking for me right now. She says she doesn’t see me on stage. Let me go handle her and I will talk to you ok? 

Logan: Just give me a ring.
