Plas @ Batman is "this is my scary boss! my role model! we are work friends" and Batman @ Plas is like "this is an eldritch abomination from the Cartoon Dimension which I unleash from Pandora's box when things are dire" and both of them are right and both of them are wrong

Every other plashead on this website will kill me for saying this but I don't mind when Plas is a suck-up to Batman. It's in character! (And unlike real DCheads, I haven't evolved the mental defense system of beating Bats back with a stick whenever he begins absorbing another character's mythos into himself.)

well now I have! I get why comedy sidekicks went out of vogue because it was definitely a big source of condescending cringe humor but RIP Plastic Man's funnymarriage being erased along with that. For a short amount of time in the 40s Woozy was just like a Guy and not even a sidekick yet and I do love his weird personality there.

But the 80s mini probably has my favorite dynamic. Woozy gets to know Plastic Man's secret identity and help Eel piece his mess of a life back together and they both get to be full grown adults and also stupid cartoon idiots. Just two guys looking at each other like, "this guy is a FREAK! he doesn't know how lucky he is that I (very normal) have sworn my life to keep him out of trouble." and then they throw each other through windows (bonding activity/easy shortcut)
