Read only fanfiction until my eyeballs drop out of my skull from exhaustion

Draw badly. Write nonsensically. Embroider messily. Burn what you bake and cook. Get paint everywhere. Read half a book. Lose your mind for a bit. Plant things. Have faith in the process. Abandon 70 wood-carving projects. Get a kit and do some of it and never return to it. Get comfortable with sucking and losing motivation. Continue to create with reckless abandon.

Messaging people for the first time is so hard. What am I supposed to say? Like, "You seem really odd and your blog intrigues me. Do you want to have philosophical conversations or perhaps talk about fictional characters?" What! Whatever. I will just follow you back and stare at your blog with my big beautiful brown eyes.

This had been the longest train ride to Hogwarts to ever exist. Remus stared out of the window, leaning his face on the glass, watching the green fields roll by in a blur. The compartment was unusually quiet. It was peaceful, but Remus knew better than not being suspicious. Knowing better didn't mean he was going to act on said knowledge, though. James and Peter were asleep on the opposite bench, piled on top of each other and snoring quietly. They were out of trouble, at least, but it wasn't them who Remus thought would ruin this peace and quiet.

A while longer of quiet passed, Remus sighed and let his eyes close, hoping for a few hours of sleep before the train reached Scotland. Almost as soon as Remus was drifting off, as though enticed by Remus wanting to rest, drawn to disruption like a magnet, Sirius chose that exact moment to speak up.

"Moony," he whispered, poking Remus' arm. Remus ignored him. "Moonshine," Remus ignored him again "mooooonyyyyyy" his voice was soft like a lullaby. He definitely wanted something. "im boooored," he whined like a child, it illicited an involuntary scoff out of Remus. Sirius leaned closer to Remus' ear, his hair falling forewards and tickling Remus' neck. "I know you're awake, babe," Sirius whispered almost silently. And Remus snapped upright so quickly that Sirius fell on the floor of the compartment, a shit eating grin on his face. Remus raised an eyebrow. "Babe?" He squeaked out, voice cracking in an ugly way. "Seriously?" He added in his momentary shock over the word. Remus wasn't sure if he liked it or not.

"I'm always Sirius," he said with a laugh, pulling himself back up onto the bench and leaning over Remus to look out the window. "Well, seeing as you are awake, babe... I spy with my little eye..."
