Another part! It's an update, and the backstory has been told! Also, quick a/n, I'll be using feminine pronouns(ex: princess and shit idk) for Tayei since I'm getting tired of just calling them heir.

Also, just to say this might have some bloody scenes, so, tw for that

It was another day that Tayei decided to run off in the halls. Kabu kept following them around, being the loyal guard he was. However, this day was rather special. It was a day it was their birthday. The royal family had thrown a party for the heir, who was coming of age and would soon inherit the throne.

The townspeople had flocked to see the future monarch of the kingdom. The day was fairly bright, and the clouds were white as cotton. Tayei was gifted many presents by the townspeople, although not many had actually brought the heir gifts, but they didn't mind. They just loved the company of their future subjects.

Tayei spotted a few townspeople who had seemed unfamiliar, but they brushed it off, assuming that the townspeople had welcomed newcomers.

Tayei was simply glad their future subjects had come to celebrate their birthday. The only day when they become a fully fledged adult in their kingdom.

The newcomers were all robed, and their faces were hidden from the light. They were all hovering around the royal heir. Tayei brushed off the worry they had. However, Kabu seemed to growl at the robed figures. He was more aggressive than usual.. This worried the princess.. They tilted their head at Kabu.

"Kabu, are you ok?" They asked, worried. He didn't respond as the kobold bared his fangs at the robed figures.

The robed figures then suddenly began approaching Tayei discreetly.. The figures had their hands in their robes, grabbing something under the cloaks.

Tayei suddenly felt something grazing their cheek and a loud thud to echo from next to their ear.

In that moment, everything went to hell. Townspeople screamed as Kabu suddenly grabbed his sword and swung it at the robed figures who.. turned out to be assassins. The assassins were all found out, and one lunged at Tayei.

Kabu immediately turned his focus to the one closest to Tayei and bit down onto the assailant. Different guards ran out to protect the royals as the assassins ran through without mercy, cutting down any guard that stood in their way.

Many guards were injured during the process as townspeople ran from the palace grounds. Kabu stuck close to Tayei, keeping them behind him as he held them close in his arms protectively.

One of the assassins had spotted the two and took their chance, charging at the two and stabbing through Kabu. Tayei was unharmed as their eyes widened at the large blade going through their guard's torso.. Kabu collapsed onto the ground with Tayei as the heir froze in shock. The assassin yelled at the other two that the heir and kobold were dead. Then the assassins retreated, fleeing the kingdom..

Tayei stared up at the sky, their expression frozen into a wide-eyed shock. Tears pricked their eyes as they held onto their best friend's body. His body.. his fluffy body had slowly gone cold as time passed.. The blade had only grazed their side, and the throwing knife had only cut their cheek.. the king and queen were relieved to see their child ok.. but their eyes were filled with grief for Kabu...

Ok, let's start this story off with a backstory, like any cliche movie or something. Also, I'm just gonna say this is a slowburn fic. Don't expect it to be exciting and shit. This'll be a long project.

Also, I won't be posting much because, again, I am a procrastinator. Also, creds to the gif down here 👇 and I'm sorry if I'm terrible at explaining things ;-;

In a world where dragons soaring through the skys were considered normal, a kingdom had grown.

The land was all separated through four sections.

The North, South, East, and West.

These kingdoms had their own quirks. For example, the Southern was.. rather barbaric. But they had their own traditions and were kind to newcomers.

But, let's get back to the story. The queen from the kingdom of the North had bore a child. The people had spread rumors that this child had been blessed.. or cursed.

Whichever it may be. This child had been rather lucky many times. In their time on the green earth, almost causing their parents to have a heart attack or freak them out in general.

They had the uncanny ability to narrowly avoid danger.

Once they were only 4 months old, they had crawled into the training field of their future guards. Someone was able to get the little baby out of that field before someone accidentally dropped a large canon ball onto the exact spot where the heir sat.

Another time, the child was 4, studying magic. However, they had chanted the wrong spell, and a large shelf narrowly missed them. They only cried because of the loud crash and the fact that their clothes were pinned under the shelf.

But, back to the present times...

Throughout the halls of the castle, laughter could be heard with the sound of shoes hitting the porcelain floors with the sound of someone following behind.

"Your Highness! Where are you going!? Your parents are awaiting you!" A guard frantically yelled, chasing after the giggling heir.

"Come on, mother and father aren't going to mind!" Tayei exclaimed, smiling back at their guard. The guard, a Kobold named Kabu, sighed and kept chasing after them.

This continued on until Tayei ran into the throne room, running to their parents and jumping into their father's lap.

"Ah! Tayei, my dear. You gave us a heart attack!" He scolded gently, running his big calloused hands through their hair. His scolding look turned to a gentle smile as he saw his child's big smile. "You menace.." He whispered, kissing their forehead lovingly.

Tayei's mother let out a soft sigh. "The day you become the ruler of this kingdom is when we finally get a break from your shenanigans." She said, shaking her head.

Their child just smiled. Tayei was just a bubbly child. But somehow, they're very disastrous at times..

Tayei runs away from their kingdom after an attempted assassination at their life. They have disguised themself as a mage. However, they are completely clueless about the real world. Being a naive heir, they befriend someone who is considered to be an unstable rouge. Somehow??

Istg, i have to keep thinking about the fact fairies look like some sexy woman or some femboy.

I WANT TGEM TO HAVE DIFFERENT TYPES OF SPECIES!!! SOME FAST SOME SLOW! SOME FAT SOME SLIM! SOME MUSCULAR AND SOME LOOKING LIKE A STICK!

I swear to god, i made a whole ass essay of these guys, and it's only a page long.

First, fairies. As I said. I think there'd be different kinds of'em. Some would be peaceful and some are fucking demons. The faster ones are more carnivorous while the slower ones are mostly herbivores. So, therefore, there should be SOME kind of fat to the herbivores. Carnivorous fairies would hunt insects and small rodents. Herbivores would eat berries, herbs, and literally any vegetation.

Herbivores and carnivores, if they work together, would have some kind of farming like today's society or, like in Beastars, expect carnivores aren't likely to cannibalize on other fairies. Some may do, but some won't.

Carnivores have more slimmer or muscular bodies, depending on the species.

Fairies most likely do NOT have any natural predators. If they do, then the carnivorous ones would have such instincts. Some fairies are poisonous and will be able to kill anything that consumes it.

Some fairies might look ugly to keep away predators. Or some fairies might have VERY skilled hiding skills ANYTHING!!

Fairies are not some twinks or ugly looking shits. There are multiple ways to imagine fairies. This is just my take.

Along with the cockatrice. There are MULTIPLE species of chickens and snakes! It should not be just a rooster and some green ass snake. Imagine! A hen and a fucking cobra! HOW COOL WOULD THAT BE?! How about a Delaware and a RATTLESNAKE?! It may not have the rattle, but it COULD AS WELL BE THE VENOM!

A minotaur?! WHAT ABOUT THOSE?! IT COULD AS OXEN OR SOMETHIN SMH-

Anyway, I'm sorry, this is not my usual thing but I'll be taking two weeks off for studies and exams.

She has gotten hit by a bus. At least three times.

She tried salt water as a kid and regretted it.

Once, tried spicy food. Could only tolerate it for a few seconds before she chugged milk.

Sometimes wonders if people shorter than her will kne day bite her ankles-

But on serious notes, with a partner, she'd be the most doting gal anyone could ask for.

Maybe a bit, too jealous sometimes, but she'll hold your hand if the two of you are out together.

This quirk allows the user to have shadow powers and traverse great distances through shadow and darkness. They literally become a shadow and are able to affect the physical world. While hiding in darkness, the user is unable to be touched or seen unless the user make their presence known. They are able to manipulate their own body and turn themself into sand(which is able to be done once a day)

Drawbacks: Sensitivity to light.

Likes: Sweet, Hashbrowns, Purin(Pudding), autumn, and sharks

Dislikes: Light, summer, and their face.

Extra: When their quirk is erased, their face can be seen. But they fuggin hate it, and they're really sensitive to light. Oh, and they can't read for shit
