update from the update! after watching hours of youtube tutorials and getting familiar with s4studio and accidentally recolouring the wrong hair first some progress has been made! i still need to make the roots a bit darker, but i'm happy about the outcome so far.
ngl i'm tempted to go fully maxis match but the sheer thought of searching maxis match hair that looks similiar enough to the current hairstyles of my sims makes me not wanna do it

i couldn't stop laughing when Fuyuko pulled out that binocular while standing right behind that poor fellow. his messages must contain some spicy details.
lmao nevermind. curiosity got the better of me and i downloaded a bunch of maxis match hair.
Finn: the hairstyle is not very accurate but i like the style. i would need to do a recolour tho as the pink is a bit too much.
Avery: the hair on the left is more accurate to his current hairstyle, but i feel the other hair a bit more. again, i would need to do a recolour as his haircolour is a tad more ashy than what we have with maxis match colours.
Alexander: very much in love with this maxis match hair. might add the darker roots tho.
Tao: it's not terrible but also not perfect. i'll need to do more digging to find a better matching hair. (suggestions are appreciated! 💛)
Nico: 8/10 won't complain.
Koji: same as Tao. it's okay but i might find something more fitting.
