he walked over to the cabinet and opened it. you smiled as you saw him struggle to find the makeup remover and how his eyes brightened when he finally spotted the familiar light blue bottle. he opened it, poured it into a cotton pad, and closed the cabinet.

as gentle as he was before, he made sure to take off every trace of color on your eyelids and even made sure to wipe the parts that were always so stubborn to come off. once he was done, he softly tapped your cheek so you could open your eyes. 

he put the now-stained cotton pad down and slowly closed the distance between them, setting his hands on the counter on either side of you. he leaned forward, caging you against his body. 

“hey, pretty,” he giggled. you scrunched your nose in response as he pressed a quick peck to the tip of it.
