weird little brain tweak/reframing that helped me out. i Often find that advice that seemingly helps Everyone Else doesn’t make any sense to me, in ways that are hard to describe, and it can be really frustrating. but when i find a way to explain it to myself that finally seems to break through and make it click, it feels really good
I know a company that does both these things and no surprise, when you shop there, the employees are always miserable and agitated.You should kill your managers in such situations imo. The only reason I receive treatment slightly above this is i'm lucky enough to have managers who are also bothered by these business practices. The water one is especially bad if you have heat intolerance, I was so sick regularly before I switched to a department with more leniency regarding water.
Depending on where you live these things may violate labor laws though so if you're in the same situation look into it. However in my experience any labor law violations happen without consequence regardless

btw… important PSA: cutting off the mold on the surface of food does nothing. you can only see the spores on the surface, but mold itself has spread and grown roots into the food. by the time you can actually *see* the spores, that piece of food is completely full of it. youre still eating mold.
many of which are poisonous and have been shown to cause cancer. youre not even supposed to sniff it, because that can get spores into your lungs. like if you look up the health and safety guidelines for mold they barely stop short of telling you to put on a hazmat suit.
like produce is okay as long as you cut around it at least an inch, but cooked foods? you gonna die. stop eating mold people

This gimmick blog has it all: science, pictures of animals, interaction with the text of other peoples' posts, interesting information, and a unique and fun premise. As a biologist, I'm rooting for hellsitegenetics to reach the end and take the tournament, because it is truly a standout among gimmick blogs.

So I decided to check if I received ang other emails from tumblr trust and safety apart from the 3 trademark violation emails and look what I found from February
people of tumblr: how would you feel about organising to nominate the hermits charity stream and/or individual hermits for the minecraft category at the streamer awards this year?
it feels overdue at this point - that they haven’t been nominated once - despite how much they contribute to the mc streaming scene, how long hermitcraft has been streaming for (10 years and still going strong), how dedicated the community is and the impact they’ve had on minecraft content as a genre

Falastin's family is certainly not the only one affected by Gaza's recent heavy rains, but it doesn't mean they suffer any less. As you can see from the video, it's barely better inside the tent than outside it - and the floor is completely drenched.
Ever tried to sleep outside in a rain? It's not only sopping, dehumanizing experience, it's also painful because you get cold from the water and there is no way to get warm. Try to imagine how it is to eat soggy bread while you can barely move your aching from the cold hands. Try to also imagine to barely be able to sleep from the anxiety and constant noise, noise from the buzzing planes and drones and relentless dripping water. Try to imagine that you need to calm down your children, and come up with new lies every day - for why they are not in a warm home, why they don't have food to eat, why they can't be treated for their cold. Because the reality is so soul-crushing that you cant explain it to them - or if you do, they'd think you are punishing them. The reality is that Falastin was trying to raise funds for her 24 family members for evacuation from Gaza since late June and barely got 1% completed. She gathered 43,682 SEK (4,292$) which doesn't cover even one evacuation - but even without that the border is closed, they need money FOR EVERYTHING since none of them can work right now for obvious reasons. Not only they need food, water, medicine (especially for the flu which is in season right now), they also need more tents and waterproof material.
The reality is that you can help them right now, by donating some of you money. If you can give 100$, give 100$. If you can give 50 cents, give 50 cents. Not a cent will be wasted.
The next short-term goal is 6,000$ and Falastin really needs to reach it as soon as possible to keep her family alive.
