Ok i made dumb lore for him so here it is. This is based off KPs gameplay and lore but has differences, and thus this is essentially a slight au

Caution used to be a construction worker for laminax, mainly working on tech such as the ventilation and safety shields so humans could safety test on goos. This changed however, when a power outage happened. The gootraxians were released due to the shields becoming essentially useless, the power was brought back, but the generator was damaged, leading to the power being inconsistent at best. And due to this, humans had to survive against the now hostile goos, Caution had noticed that a room (lang/gas room] had seemingly had their ventilation compromised during the first outage, leading to fumes within the room that were toxic to humans. Caution had decided he’d fix this, little did he know a good amount of goos were camping there due to it being unsafe for humans. Caution was attacked and tried to flee, he got past the worst of the rooms, and he was close to the safety shield. Before he was shoved into a pup puddle by a dammed hound, and due to him being too weak to fight back, he succumbed.

He lost all his memories as a pup, leaving him a shell of his former self. Yet he still retained some elements of who he used to be, such as his knowledge of the ventilation units

Explanation for PO and BO forms: i deadass dont know how hed get them but eh, still have some stuff for em so les go lmao, also this is now just generally explaining my theories abt why the slime pup has these two seperate forms

PO: during the power outage, a more hostile aura and the harsh red lighting causes all life forms in the facility to become significantly more violent, paired with the sheilds being down, the gootraxians often temporarily take over the whole facility. This aura affects the slime pups too, and their bodies merge with the spiked crystals in the crystal caves, causing them to glow red and be more.. evil

BO: during this event, the facility in a way reverts back to how it was during the first, grand blackout. Thus slime pups, that didn’t really exist at that point, become ghost like, but also, any slime pups will be able to temporarily remember their lives before becoming infected, often causing them to either hide away to grieve of their lost lives, or attempt to assist humans by using their glowing tails to light up the now almost pitch black facility for them.
