because tommy wasn’t actually sure if he was going to be streaming today because of college, this gives me reason to believe that what his character is doing right now isn’t important to the event that’s going to happen, but more so what he’s already done and what he’s left behind.

someone might visit logstedshire today, and see everything blown up (probably ranboo, quackity, or maybe even philza), and a tower in the distance. a one by however much tommy built up, and the only seeming escape from it being a hard hit to the ground. of course whoever sees it is going to go straight back to lmanburg or to tubbo, maybe even dream to tell them, and tommy’s going to be assumed dead, a tragic loss to the community fitting of a disgraced “hero.”

dream’s going to use this for manipulation, sure, but i’m more thinking on the sbi’s reaction to this.

because if techno finds out, he’s either going to have one of those “i told you so” moments due to his detachment to relationships, or he is going to be the most pissed motherfucker we’ve seen on the smp to date. there’s not going to be an in between. maybe techno will stay in retirement, or maybe he’ll swear it off in revenge for his little brother.

think about it, he may have wanted tommy to learn a lesson, but that was tommy’s last canon life. and it would have been lost to suicide, lost because he was driven so far off the edge by people he thought cared about him, and techno did nothing to help. maybe the guilt would drive him to avenge tommy. not everyone comes back as a ghost, as seen by schlatt being nowhere to be found, so tommy’s disappearance wouldn’t be all that unbelievable to point to his death. not only this, but wilbur was already dead. his twin. if he loses tommy, that means that philza really will be the only one techno has left, and he’s one life away from death as a constant hardcore player.

will techno commit to an older brother role? i don’t know, but i think it would add some cool depth to the storyline, and maybe i just want to hear the incredulity in his voice if he finds the raccoon child under his house later in the arc.
