I feel like ao3 needs a specific “major character death” tag for supernatural that tells me if they’re gonna come back or stay dead because death in supernatural is kind of a non permanent issue. Like, I never know if I’m coming in on another Tuesday for the Winchesters or if this is the end when I see that tag.

everything about these characters is a contradiction. how can you not want to eat them alive, absorb them into your blood, and then spend the rest of your life trying to write them into a world where every single one of these things is true at the same time??? i’m absolutely. insane

who your fave actor/actress of colour?

I'm hopeless at picking faves. I have a bottomless capacity for adding new faves without demoting the others. But if I cheat and limit myself to people I've seen performing live, then Chiwetel Ejiofor's 2007 Othello blew me away so hard I still haven't recovered. I don't think any performer will ever dethrone him from "lifetime highlight stage performance" for me.

I've seen quite a few of the British 'greats' being awesome on stage, but I've never - except that night - been so caught up in the magic of someone's performance that I forgot to breathe until my chest hurt. He was spellbinding. He was surrounded by a great cast that included Ewan McGregor and Tom Hiddleston, and they all just faded into shadow whenever Ejiofor spoke. Magical. Perfection. Pure skill.
