I had amazingly few complaints as I marathoned my way through my first ever viewing of Supernatural. I was just happily popcorn munchin' and taking it all in. But not seeing (a lot) more of Missouri Moseley along the way seemed like a crying shame. She's the sensible to their stupid, the self-possession to their melodrama. She's awesome. Amazing character. I'd have loved to know her better.

it made people wary and uncomfortable in his presence, even if they didn't know why. something about him was just Not Right

Meanwhile Dean Disaster Winchester became entirely unaffected by this effect in the shortest amount of time imaginable

Dean was out there giving an actual legit angel a cute nickname almost immediately. He was throwing an arm over his shoulder, having him ride around in his car, prayed to him, joked with him (even when Cas didn't understand the joke), cared about his wellbeing, told him to Never Change.... he liked (loves) him for being himself. weirdness and all

To Dean he was just a weird little angel (affectionate)

But to everyone else it was like watching Dean treat a tiger like a house cat

WHERES THE ANGEL? YOU'RE HIM is such an insane exchange. Because It means that all the Purgatory monsters were gossiping about 1) Dean Winchester being locked in Purgatory and 2) frantically running around the monster land looking for his angel.

How embarrassing for him😭
