This is the weakest “defense” I’ve ever seen-

Star Wars cast Moses in a role where other characters would constantly talk down to her character and degrade her character.

Reva is portrayed as hotheaded, impulsive and excessively violent. She’s seen as too loud and too reckless. Other characters in both the Empire and the Rebellion dislike her to the point of hatred.

At face value, there is nothing wrong with having hotheaded, impulsive or violent characters. HOWEVER, this isn’t something to be taken at face value.

Reva is the ONLY main character in this series portrayed by a Black actor.

Having the only Black actor portray a character seen as hyper-violent, impulsive and overaggressive screams racial ignorance.

The other Inquisitors are seen as more rational and calmer, despite also being much more violent in the animated shows.

This characterization plays into super harmful and degrading stereotypes against Black women.

Disney ignorantly cast Moses into a role that would draw hate and bias.

They needs to do better than “we resist”

Moon Knight is a comedy.
