Really not handling this well, huh.

I think this is the longest comic in the whole series so far, and it doesn’t look like it’s going to get better any time soon. Plz be patient if each one takes longer than usual, haha.

Okay THIS is by far the longest one by a WIDE margin, god help me if any of the upcoming ones are this long but I just couldn’t find a good place to break it. You can see it in one piece at Comicfury.

Gaster wasn’t actually going to hurt or attack them, he just wanted to scare them off. The last time he saw them, they were still severely traumatized from his blue magic “lesson“, so he assumes that Papyrus is still completely terrified of it. And to an extent he is! BUT! Asgore worked with him to overcome that fear while they were staying with him! They aren’t the same bbs you used to know anymore, Gaster.

This whole bit ended up being like 8200px and I didn’t want to do that to myself (again) so I cut it in half, haha. So these two bits are short… well, relatively. I have no concept of what’s short or long anymore when it comes to Handplates pages lol.

Asgore thinking about how the kid is probably going to kill him when they do decide to fight him. Maybe I’ll see you later maybe, hopefully, maybe.

Oh Alphys, so dependably awkward. Gaster knocked the coffee over on purpose to have an excuse to apologize to her. She doesn’t know what you’re apologizing for, Gaster! And now her shirt is all stained! Although I guess considering he’s been erased from history, does he have something to apologize to her for…? Alphys got spooked by his ghost hands back when she was alone in the lab once, haha. Still remembers how odd they looked! Ugh, this one wasn’t long vertically but the backgrounds really slowed it down, it took a while.

All the weird things getting tied back together! Or at least, a hypothesis for what’s going on anyway… get to see Gaster looking interested for once which is also rather rare, getting quite an emotional range from him recently, haha.

Praise for Sans from Gaster is complicated for him, all of this is complicated for him! Poor guy. Papyrus’s desperation for his praise and validation is a lot simpler in comparison.

Never know when a flashback will strike! Although actually Gaster had a pretty good idea that it was likely going in. He actually kept it together pretty well until the laughing started.

I was going to have one of the other ladies in there with Jockey and Mousey, but Hunter doesn’t like books, Smoker’s a grouch, and Charger wouldn’t laugh that much. So I went through my old sketches and found one of Jockey’s nerd friends who died in the zombie apocalypse, Lorelei. She’s happy to be here!
