A 2d animation of the dog thing transformation scene from The Thing 1982. The style is sketchy and dark with big splotches of dark blue tones. The dog faces the left with a distressed expression. Slowly it turns it head to get a look at the viewer, it's ghostly eye reflects the light slightly. Suddenly it turns it's head fully into the light while it's face peals open into a four petal flower shape, it's flesh covered skull still intact in the pealed face's center. It's ghoulish eye still remains. The blood red flesh's wetness shines in the low light. The screen then turns black.

I made this animation a year ago but I'm still very happy with it so I'm gonna give it some new life! I'd love to remake this sometime, but that's gonna be a far away future project I think.
