Dr. Loki Beaker isn't the boss of me! The pep talk from my son really helped me to self-actualize!

I've been promoted to Mad Scientist and will try trusting myself more. Nebulon helped me work through some of my fears so I'm relying on myself now! I can protect my son and will outsmart any sim or alien who tries to mess with us!

When I thought I heard something rustling behind the fence, I advised my son to stay back. I wasn't going to hesitate this time, whoever was hiding back there was getting the full blast of my SimRay.

ultimate gameplay guide to having fun in the sims (4)!

I had made a gameplay guide on my old blog & recently got asked about it, so I revamped it a little and also created a notion page/site to host the guide on! It is organized and super easy to use.

this guide has photo editing resources, advice & gameplay mod recommendations! this is essentially for the simmers who tend to get bored or lost when playing sims 4. There are some tips I share to make gameplay more fun and interesting, also some tips from other simmers that I link that share some sim advice too. I hope this is helpful to some people! If you ever have questions regarding sim gameplay and stuff like that send me an ask! I can always share more advice with you all :D

I started making moodboards to help me visualize my characters and find their aesthetic. This is the one I made for my legacy founder.

Alriiiiiight...

So, Daddy didn't do so well...

I seem to have a problem where my game crashes every few minutes and I am not quick enough with the save button to make it worthwhile to play.

Last year I replaced my dusty old laptop that was struggling to play the game with a new computer...but I seem to have done something to make it unplayable.

I have a feeling it might be because I've been friggin around with lighting mods and things that are a little more advanced than my usual mods or fogged-up brain can handle, but I also have a theory that it is because I switched from Mac to PC. I fear there are lurking iOS files buried in there...

I think I'm going to have to delete everything and reinstall the whole thing over again.

Buckle up! Daddy's putting the hammer down.

I need to update my mods folder and update my game. Wish me luck! It almost always ends in complete chaos... 😵‍💫💫

Journal Entry #77: Nebulon Gives Inspiring Speech

Nebulon has been growing up so quickly, so I decided it was time I told him why I have been so paranoid.

Investigating Bella Goth's disappearance, my research into aliens, and my infamy as the Hero of Strangerville has made me a target. I've been operating from a place of fear, and I have been trying to protect my son from those who would want to harm him.

At first, Nebulon was angry. Being cooped up in this bunker was driving him insane. He wanted to go to school and be like the other kids.

Nebulon told me about the joyride he had taken on his bike into town the other day while I was at the Curio Shop. He said he was confident and trusted himself, Neb asked why I didn't feel that way about myself. Such a deep question for a young kid.

My son reminded me that I am one of the most brilliant scientists in all of SimNation; I have achieved every goal I have set for myself. If anyone could protect him, it was me. I didn't need to be afraid...my enemies should fear me!

Journal Entry #76: Nebulon's Aspiration Complete!

Despite not attending school, Nebulon is quickly developing his skills. His motor skills have grown from learning to ride his bike.

He practices his arithmetic on the computer to build his mental skills. Builds his creative skills by playing pretend with his toys.

He's even made a best friend in Tycho Curious who always stops by on his way home after school to socialize. Nebulon was able to complete his childhood aspiration and received the headstrong trait.
