I'm back! Well, I've been back and lurking...but I'm back now and going to start posting again and sharing more of my special interests here.
I've also made a "before you follow" page. If you already follow me and want to look at that, it just gives you an idea of what I hope to turn this blog into and gives you some insight into the person who is writing this blog (moi).

Alriiiiiight...
So, Daddy didn't do so well...
I seem to have a problem where my game crashes every few minutes and I am not quick enough with the save button to make it worthwhile to play.
Last year I replaced my dusty old laptop that was struggling to play the game with a new computer...but I seem to have done something to make it unplayable.
I have a feeling it might be because I've been friggin around with lighting mods and things that are a little more advanced than my usual mods or fogged-up brain can handle, but I also have a theory that it is because I switched from Mac to PC. I fear there are lurking iOS files buried in there...
I think I'm going to have to delete everything and reinstall the whole thing over again.

I've added a bunch of posts to my queue while I tinker around with my computer. Some are old and some are new. I'm feeling very close to the edge of a full-on rage delete and starting from scratch. But there might be some sanity on the other side of that...enjoy the weird stuff I have queued for you in the meantime! 🤡

So this is silly...but I'm afraid to reblog or tag other simblrs.
I want to, but I'm afraid that I'm not going to pick the "right" content or that I am going to do it "wrong" and in a way that makes me look weird. I've been struggling with being perceived and also feeling isolated and out of touch with other people.
But...even though I'm scared, I'm going to do it anyway! So if you get tagged in something and it's super weird and you're like, "Whoa what a weirdo"...

ultimate gameplay guide to having fun in the sims (4)!
I had made a gameplay guide on my old blog & recently got asked about it, so I revamped it a little and also created a notion page/site to host the guide on! It is organized and super easy to use.
this guide has photo editing resources, advice & gameplay mod recommendations! this is essentially for the simmers who tend to get bored or lost when playing sims 4. There are some tips I share to make gameplay more fun and interesting, also some tips from other simmers that I link that share some sim advice too. I hope this is helpful to some people! If you ever have questions regarding sim gameplay and stuff like that send me an ask! I can always share more advice with you all :D
I saw this post by @simsofstrawberryhill and wanted to share my cat as well.
My cat's name was Tiger, he passed away last year in May. He was my first cat and belonged to my husband's grandmother before he came to live with us.
He was my best friend and helped me a lot during my mom's end of life. He had the friendly + affectionate + lazy traits.🧡🐅
When he got sick, I wasn't ready for him to go...so I too made him as a sim-cat where he could live forever. He lives in a house I built to look like our home with sims who resemble my husband and me.

Last year in autumn my cat died. I miss him so much, so I made him as a sim-cat where he will live forever 💙 🐈
His name was Luke, he was nearly 14 years old when he died and for many years he was my best friend. He currently lives with my legacy family. 🍓

1. my lockscreen (exposing myself as a swiftie lol, but my anxiety has been crippling the last few years and this lock screen was my reminder not to let it get in the way of joy - it's how I ended up with the courage to make this blog! So, make the friendship bracelets, take the moment and taste it! You've got no reason to be afraid)
2. last song I listened to (I've been making playlists for my sims lately, and this is a song on a playlist for a sim that is somewhat based on me...it's for windslar's MBTI Legacy Challenge, but it's not ready yet. I was born in the 90s and am from Canada/Turtle Island, so I love me some Alannis!!)
3. last photo I took (I didn't take this photo, but it's the last one in my camera roll. My cousin just had a baby and they named him after my dad who just passed away in April. Baby's middle name is "Mack" which is what people called my dad. And I like to think the "K" on the end is for me hahaha! I cannot wait to meet him!)
4. last film I watched (I've not been watching movies, but I've been watching anything and everything on Dropout.tv! Especially this latest season of Dimension 20, Never Stop Blowing Up!)

I was 10 years old! And it was over 20 years ago! 🤢
I first played The Sims when I went to a friend's house for a sleepover. She had just got the Sims Unleashed for her birthday and wanted to show me her little pets! I immediately went home the next day and begged my mom for it.
A monster was created that day and I have been obsessed with the Sims games ever since! 🤩👹
