Journal Entry #82: Making the Plan

We began developing a plan. Mortimer brought up a good point - breaking into the Beaker's home alone would be unsafe. Nervous confirmed the home was heavily boobytrapped; the best way would be to be invited inside by Loki. Mortimer asked what Loki would want from me to get an invitation to his home lab?

I said I wasn't interested in using my son as bait. Mortimer nodded in agreement, he suggested that we approach it another way. We needed to get information that Dr. Beaker would want, and we knew he had been interested in me pursuing my Ufologist research.

I'd need to go to work and prove to Loki that I was becoming the Mad Scientist he wanted me to be. Tomorrow, I will try my best to win Loki over - convince him I have finally bent the knee.

Mortimer also suggested that I follow up on Ali Starr's contact in pollination and get the Intergalactic Record of Bella's abduction. This could be something of interest to Loki.

We had a plan! We spent the rest of the gathering getting to know our new member, Nervous. He seems to fit in nicely with Pascal and Cassandra seems to have developed a new crush.

Journal Entry #86: Somewhere in the Universe

I felt the paralyzing effects of the abduction wearing off. We were docked somewhere. I crawled out of the spacecraft into what looked to be a residential space station.

Just then I heard a distorted voice calling me over. A blue-skinned alien was sitting at the computer. They introduced themselves as Pollination Technician #3. This was Nebulon's other biological parent. I couldn't help but notice all the similarities Neb shared with them.

They had received my transmission and were currently downloading all of the files on the Intergalactic Database for Bella Goth as I had requested. My luck serum must be working!

They opened up what they had found so far, Bella's Galactic Abduction Record had many clues that corroborated Agnes Crumplebottom's witness statement, but also new information that I was interested in running past Mortimer. While we waited for the final documents to transfer, Pollination Technician #3 asked if I'd like to explore their lab.

I felt a chill up my spine. I have no recollection of how I came to be pregnant, but I worried that being in the place where it occurred might bring back frightful memories; however, my curiosity wanted to know...

Journal Entry #87: Mind Boggling Alien Tech!

Visiting the lab was actually quite focusing. Pollination Technician #3 excitedly explained the science of creating life between sims and aliens. It was incredibly advanced!

Throughout the conversation, Pol. Tech #3 reminded me so much of Nebulon - the way they were geeking out over their research was how Nebulon was with his shows or video games.

After touring the lab and receiving the evidence from the Intergalactic Database, it was time for me to return home. I gave Pol. Tech #3 a hug and snuck a tracking device on them. If Nebulon ever wanted to know them, I wanted him to be able to find them.

Despite being nervous to meet Nebulon's alien parent, I was glad to have done so. I collected the evidence that was sure to pique Loki Beaker's interest and established a relationship with Pol. Tech #3. I looked for Nebulon and found him in the bunker.

He was sleeping soundly. As I tucked him in, I was grateful. Although not the traditional way to become a father, Nebulon was a gift from above.🛸

Journal Entry #83: Undercover Mad Scientist

As soon as I arrived at work, I began to work towards the plan. I found Loki and Sergei in the Invention Lab. I informed them that I had decided to embrace my new promotion to Mad Scientist. Finally, I was going to do my Ufology work tasks.

As Loki assigned my tasks, he said he was sceptical of my new change of heart. He would wait until I had solid evidence to believe I was actually embracing my madness. Mortimer was right - evidence was the way to Loki.

I offered him a handshake to cement my promise, Loki's eyes narrowed as he examined my face. Reluctantly he put his hand in mine and was instantly electrocuted. Hopefully, this display of mischief will show him that I am being serious.

I took my time today, but I did as I said to Sergei and Loki. I worked on the Electroflux Wormhole Generator that I had been ignoring for weeks. My last task of the day was the one I was dreading the most.

I had no clue who would emerge from the portal I opened, this was very dangerous. I had my SimRay ready, but I hoped to fail the experiment.

Journal Entry #84: Luck is on our side!

I suspect that my experiment was successful, but it seems that I have had my memory altered to not remember. I am grateful to this journal for re-jogging my memory, I was able to access most of my memories back and am now more determined than ever.

As I read through my journal I was reminded of a breakthrough I had had for a new serum of Luck. I decided to stay late and craft and clone a few beakers. I needed luck now more than ever.

I needed evidence to gain Dr. Loki Beaker's favour so I could be invited to his home lab where we suspected he was keeping Bella Goth captive. This was a risky plan, but I drank one of the Luck serums and sent a signal to Pollination Technician #3.
