Finally, a day without rain! Orion and Nebulon headed to the Wallowa National Park to fish for the first time on their father-son fishing trip. Neb's unknown condition made it hard for him to stay focused. Since neither father nor son knew how to fish...they were unable to catch anything...🙄

After fishing at the national park was a flop, Orion's midlife crisis ramped up. They returned to camp where it started raining again, as they played a game of cards they decided it was time to end this vacation from hell and head home in the morning.

Cassandra hosted their annual Harvestfest Celebration at Goth Manor. Over the years the "Heroes of Strangerville" became more like a chosen family - just a bunch of misfits who found comfort in one another's company. Sometimes jokingly referred to as the Curious-Goth-Fox Family. 🖤🦃🦊

Neb was a little nervous when Cassandra asked him to help her brother in the kitchen with the washing up. Xander Goth was a senior in high school and Neb had heard some of the other students whispering about him, he had a bad reputation and many of the kids at school feared him. As Neb awkwardly approached, Xander spoke: "So, your daddy finally loosened your leash and let you out of the bunker?"

Xander invited Neb and Tycho to sneak out that night. When they arrived at the teen hangout, Xander looked surprised, "Hmm. I didn't think you had it in you. This disguise has really emboldened you, Nebby!" The boys playfully razzed one another, shot some hoops, hung out at the bonfire, and jammed to the metal station until sunrise.

The next morning, the boys headed to Hogan's Hoagies for breakfast. As they entered the diner, Nebulon caught a glimpse of Jill Smith and swooned. Tycho saw Nebulon checking her out and was totally grossed out at the thought of his best friend crushing on his cousin. Although, it seems he was developing romantic feelings of his own for someone else. With all these hormones flying around, the teen boys didn't notice the man in the white lab coat keeping a close eye on them...

Well, shit. That happened fast! 💨 Nebulon went to the psychologist and was diagnosed with ADHD ( samsies ). He has started behaviour therapy and taking medication ( neither of which I do to treat my ADHD 😅) It's probably going to get harder before it gets easier...but let's give this a shot! Nebulon is keeping positive!

Finally found a mod that lets me pick my students and my teachers! Tycho is in Neb's class, while his other friends can be seen in the hallways T-posing or studying in the cafeteria. Two new faculty members have also joined the school! Tatania Summerdream is teaching History and Tycho's uncle, Vidcund Curious, has taken the role of science teacher.

Neb has a busy schedule. With school, chess club, friends, and special interests - Orion barely sees his son at home. Orion is proud of his son's confidence, however, he's missed their quality time together. Since their fishing trip was a bust, Orion decided to purchase a rocket ship kit for him and Nebulon to work on together. 🛠️

Neb is thinking about making a career out of this, maybe even going to Foxbury after high school and becoming an Astronaut? It would be a lot of hard work, but he knew he wanted to meet his alien family someday. This was a way to that goal.

Nebulon has been on his new meds for ADHD, but they aren't working well for him. They make it so he is unable to sleep or eat, and he keeps passing out all over. He's decided that behavioural therapy works best for him and will continue with that.

The realism was too real! Hahah! I couldn't get him to sleep in a bed or eat anything, so I was afraid he was going to die. I've decided that it was fun to explore the different quirks ADHD gives him in this playthrough rather than try to medicate them away...for now.

Having a scientist for a dad had its perks! With his ADHD medication not working and draining his needs, Nebulon found some of his father's serum experiments lying around the bunker. He chose one and hoped it would fix all his low needs and thankfully it did.

After Neb drank the serum, Tycho called and invited him to the Motive Trials. We thought he might have a chance with all his needs full, but Neb's bladder couldn't handle it and he was sent home. Maybe next time.

Neb worked up the courage to sit at the senior's table at lunch and talk to his crush, Jill Smith. They chatted about the upcoming Winterfest break and their family plans. Neb complimented Jill on being a good listener, mentioning how easy it was to talk to her and appreciating her kindness. When the bell rang, signalling time for class, Jill reminded Neb that they would see each other at her family's New Year's Eve party making Neb's heart skip a beat! 💘

Winterfest was a little chaotic this year...but honestly, when is it not in this save? Neb worked on the robotics station and developed a love for robotics. He built himself a chatterbot since he was struggling with low social - though, from the look on his face, it seems like the robot isn't as friendly as one would hope! Neb also has a moustache because he was bullied at school before he left and hasn't shaved while on Winter break.
