So far, camping is sucking. Orion and Nebulon are too uncomfortable to do anything because it's been raining since they arrived in Granite Falls, the outhouse is filthy, the bugs are annoying, and now Orion is having a midlife crisis! 🦟⛈️🏕️

Keeping to himself a little more this week. Neb spent his free periods talking with his teachers, studying for exams, and upgrading his locker. He didn't want anyone pranking him or snooping through his stuff.

While out on another night ride, Neb couldn't shake how embarrassed he felt. He needed to be more careful going forward. He was enjoying his classes and going to the chess club, but socializing was the hardest part of going to school. Why did he have to be so different?

It was his dad's only rule. Neb could go to school as long as no one saw through his disguise. After the gossip and drama this morning, Neb kept a close eye on Zhafira during class and followed her into the student lounge after the final bell rang. He wasn't even sure what he was doing, but he was so afraid she would expose him. He just wanted to wipe it from her memory...

For the rest of the duration of the Flea Market, Neb ate some spicy bhel puri from one of the food stalls and got an autograph from Global Superstar, Pork Chop. He also bought a trilobite fossil from one of the market vendors!

Mortimer Goth invited Dr. Fox and Nebulon to join him at the Sunday Flea Market in San Myshuno. He was very curious about Nebulon's disguise and his new abilities. He volunteered, asking Neb to test some of his new powers on him. "What's the worst that could happen? I'm already dead!" Neb decided to analyze Mortimer's personality which fulfilled a want to become closer to Mortimer. He learned that Mortimer has the hot-headed trait.

Tycho is always inviting Nebulon to hang out. Tonight's adventure was to the arcade in San My where they squeaked out a victory over the final boss and then sang a victory duet on the karaoke machine 💥👾💥

On the nights when Neb is home alone and finishes his homework early, he bikes out under the stars. There isn't much light pollution here in Strangerville, you don't have to go far before it's dark. When the last of the town's lights dim, it's just him out there. It almost feels like Neb is in outer space. 🌌🪐🌌

Neb went to his first Chess Club meet-up and came home with a new uniform, now he'll fit in more when all the other students are wearing their school colours. His dad mentored him and only went off on a few tangents about astrophysics; however, Nebulon did feel more focused as a result of his dad's tutelage.

After school, Tycho invited Neb to the pool for one last swim before the weather became too cold. This was Neb's first time at the pool and even though the air was a little crisp, he enjoyed every second of it. He did a cannonball so high he was taller than the building!

Nebulon experiences puberty like other teens his age. At school, he finds many of his classmates attractive and can often drift off daydreaming about them. He has to be careful as his alien aura might show! He tends to spend his free periods in the student lounge so he can focus on his teacher during class.

Tycho and Neb are both alien-hybrid children; however, unlike Nebulon, Tycho inherited more of his father's DNA than his unknown alien pollinator. As a result, he has had more freedom to participate in Sim Society. Now that Nebulon has his human disguise, Tycho can't wait to show Neb how amazing it is to be a part of this world.

Neb hasn't seen his BFF at school yet, so he decided to make a visit to his house. Tycho hadn't seen Neb's disguise yet, and was floored by how convincing it was! "Neb, for real, we have to go out! This is amazing - I can't believe this!"

I need to rant a little. It is so annoying how the HSY expansion pack works. Why did the sims team prioritize bullying over players being able to pick our classmates? It's so irritating that a sim the same age as my sim, who is his neighbour and best friend, won't spawn as a student. I'm sure there are mods to fix this...and I will look into that...but just the fact that the sims team was like "no actually having an ugly townie spawn to bully you is more important than actually having friends in high school"

After class on Friday, a fight broke out in the hallway between a member of the football team and another student. Neb had been considering joining the team, but after the commotion, decided the chess club might bring less attention to him.

The school week went by quickly, each day Neb attended class and studied for his exams. However, each day his social need kept getting low. It was time he attempted to make friends with some of his classmates and join a club!
