Onyx blinked behind her shades as she turned to face the new voice. "Hmm? Ah, yes of course." The elite smiled as she leaned her e-liter against a nearby wall.

Onyx smiled as she stretched her arms above her head. "I have a few friends I have for backup. Just incase things go south." She let out a call, and on cue, two more elites came over. "This is Erina-" the elite who was double wielding octoshots grinned and waved. "-and Violet." The elite gave a shy smile from behind Erina. "you cant be to careful when dealing with Agent 1 and Agent 2. For all we know, Agent 3 might just be laying low until we show up!" Onyx sighed.

Onyx smiled as she looked at her shades, before she switched them off, placing them back on. “Your octarian is perfect! The accent is a tiny bit off but that isnt a big deal.” “Pretty close actually. I made sure of that.” She laughed. “Is that so..?” Her dark blue eyes seemed to shine behind the shades. “I cant pass mine off as prescription due to the fact im litterally a sniper, but ill think of something. I’ll have to hide my kelp under a wig though.. Hey.. Arent inkling/octoling hybrids a thing? I could pass myself as one of those..inktolings! An inkling with some octoling features!” She raised an eyebrow as she placed a still gloved hand on her hip. “Youre anything but dumb. The others might be fairly stupid, but you’re one of the smartest inklings ive ever come into contact with.” She had a warm smile on her face as she switched her shades back on. “Dont put yourself down just because youre an inkling. Youre part of the Octarian military now. Be proud of that.”

He looks a bit embarrassed at her comment “You don’t know that! I’m only here because I fucked up badly! I wouldn’t be here if I never-“ He stops himself and takes a deep breath. She’s right. He;s a soldier now and he should stop worrying about his past… “Thank you. And yeah, that could work. Though, I don’t really think you’d stand out much!“ “Is anyone else coming along? Or is it just the two of us?“

"Not yet. As far as ive seen, the only agents around are Agent 1 and Agent 2. Agent 3 is nowhere to be found, which is certainly good news for us. All the same, im going to distribute soldiers to certain kettles to guard what mini zapfish we have on hand as of now." Onyx sighed, adjusting the kelp that was attached to her shades. "This certainly isnt easy. But if we manage to elude the eyes of Agents 1 and 2 long enough to steal the great zapfish again, we might have a chance to take over inkopolis!" She tapped her heel against the floor as she continued to speak. "However, it seems that those agent idols have set up camp at Tentakeel Outpost, our closest link to Inkopolis Square, which makes our job MUCH harder."

Onyx grinned as she grasped Rhines hand firmly in her own, giving it a hearty shake. “The names Onyx. Elite octoling, and the best sniper the Canyons ever seen…Probably the ONLY sniper the Canyons ever seen.” She laughed softly.

“Is that so? I was just going over where the scouts have seen those pesky agents so I’d know where to send our soldiers. So far ive narrowed it down to kettles #9 and #15.”

He seems surprised, they’ve been on the low for ages, he hopes they didn’t spot him ‘borrowing‘ zapfish the days prior. He didn‘t manage to get any today however. Looking a tad nervous he fidgets with his glasses. “Of course they show up when I wasn’t there.. Do I need to grab my octoshot?“

Nonet growled in frustration as she kept pacing and mumbling, before she pulled out her notepad and began rapidly scribbling something on it. It looked like some odd machine. Just then, out of nowhere, she blinked, shaking her head rapidly as the shine returned to her eyes. "...what...it happened again didnt it?" She sighed, rubbing her temples. "Sorry.. Whenever I start rambling like that, sometimes I'll start turning into who I was before, head technician #12,019 of the deepsea metro. Its usually evident by my eyes dulling, and my voice going monotone and serious. So basically what just happened there.." She looked at her notepad again, saw her scribbled design, and promptly drew a giant 'X' over it after pulling out a red sharpie.

Nonet smiled a bit as she leaned against a wall. “I still need to figure out a way to stop those awful flashbacks.. They always happen at the worst of times.” She sighed in mild frustration, adjusting her golden toothpick.

“maybe a small memory cleanse..? No.. I still need to figure out how to target specific memories..” She soon began to mutter different ideas, her eyebrows knitting together as she began to pace. For some reason, her eyes started to dull as her voice got more and more monotone and serious. What was happening..?

“Said it once and I’ll say it again. Get. Some. Therapy!”  Tabitha took note of the octolings’ odd behavior and was immediately set on edge.
