(GRAHAHHAA HEHEH!!! Look at pretzel-box’s most recent prompt to under stand what this is about-)

The routine was the same, wake up, eat something, then go out and fish till the sun set. Sometimes you would go out into the small town you lived by, the money you saved being spent on needs more than wants.

You headed out, fishing rod in your bag, a pep in your step

(authors interjections: for the setting and feel of this story, think of a peaceful fishing indie game, star dew valley-ish.)

You trotted over to a secret little area behind the village… you had always been surprised no one found it…

the dock you built under your feet creaked, you stood at the edge, casting your line.

(authors interjections: this world is magical, not realistic at all, it’s a Sebastian solace but a sea god x you story, no shit. Just saying unless y’all get confused)

The fish were more active today, the bright blue water that went far into the horizon was distracting……. distracting you from the locket you kept in your pocket all the time falling out and into the water.

The splash bringing you back to your senses, the locket sunk fast, with out hesitation you jumped in…

you didn’t know how long you had been in the water, trying to get it…

but it was too long… the locket was in your hand…

Beneath the sea for who many years now…? Doesn’t matter.. you’re not getting out here any sooner….

you’re a sea god Sebastian… for the love of the stars get a grip!! Well.. EX sea god…

Sebastian crawled out of the pit he had dug for himself in the sea he was sealed too….

was that…?

a human..?

He rushed over, they looked limp. This wasn’t good….

he shouldn’t be doing this… this was a bad idea, they were human they can’t know he exists….

but….

they looked so innocent..!

He lifted them out of the water, and placed them on the sand, staying near them…

He had to leave.. then….

BACK TO YOUR POV

you felt water rushing past you then…. Sand..?

you jolted up, coughing the extra water in your lungs up, you looked around and up…

at the giant sea creature looming above you…

Blue skin, an anglerfish bulb, fins pinned to the side of its head, shaggy black hair, golden jewelry and gems decorated its skin and three glowing cyan eyes

Those were some details you could highlight before you instinctively, and quite stupidly, screamed.

its head tilted down at you then plunged back into the water before you could say anything else…

you stayed dazed on the sand… trying to collected yourself, the image of the sea creature engraved in your head…

you looked down at your hand, and found the locket… at least you saved that…

standing up, you didn’t make the effort to get your fishing rod, you walked back to the village…. Someone had to know….

but who..?

I’M GONNA TURN THIS INTO A SERIES THIS IS SO FUN TO WRITE

I’m back to writing for the most part hehe
