Am I The Only One With A Feeling That The Buckley Family Plot Isnt Over?
Am I the only one with a feeling that The Buckley Family plot isn’t over?
Like past if they’re still there in Recovery, I feel like they’re gonna come back with one last disappointment. 911 has done a lot of “forgive your parents” messages, but they tend to do diverse or several takes on topics. Like parenthood, they tried bio and adoption and IVF and sperm donors.
And if they keep with the plot line of forgiving Chimney’s dad, which I don’t like, but does feel more “permanent” somehow, what if the Buckley parents screw up again?
Like there’s no way they went to therapy a few times and now they’re “fixed”. They screwed up their kids big time.
Sometimes, the (better) message is “you don’t have to keep forgiving the people who hurt you because they’re family that’s okay occasionally”.

With all the stuff Maddie has went through? I would be shocked if she cried less than she does. People really just hate women being “emotional”, huh?

There’s something about the way Chimney’s dad insults Buck in the most queer-coded way. Like, yeah, it’s a different context, but it’s so word for word it has to be foreshadowing.
Like? “A man can’t parent a child fathered by another man”? Oh, like the way Buck parents Christopher?
Like? “It’s unnatural”? Oh, like what homophobes say to gay couples? Those painfully familiar words? Word-for-word?
I just think it’s interesting.
Okay so, Bobby’s plot line with the scumbags at the rehab facility is over (or they are in jail at least), so WHY IS BUDDIE PLAYING POKER? Is it literally just them having a bro outing? Are they on a date together? Are they undercover for a reason we don’t know yet? Is the rest of 118 there and we just can’t see them in the photo?
