The prison break / hostage situation thing is such an underrated Buddie trauma. Everyone is talking about the tsunami, the sniper, the truck bombing - literally anything but this.

Like. Buck and Eddie are taken hostage by two armed prison escapees. They're cut off from the rest of the team. Buck gets pistol whipped. One of the guys finds out where Eddie lives and threatens Christopher. They get split up later and while Buck gets to safety rather quickly, Eddie stays behind with one of the escapees. A shot rings out over the scene, Buck probably thinks Eddie got shot. Again, while he was just standing there. This all takes place after they both already have gun related trauma and after the will reveal tm.

How is there not more fanfiction about this? Is it because it's not a season opener / finale? Is it because the focus of the episode is not on Buddie exclusively? Idk. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

The most unrealistic thing about community trobed fics is that the group figures out they’re dating by them holding hands or doing something coupley. Even while friends, they hold hands and do couple stuff so I think the most realistic thing is Troy and abed are in a relationship for months and doesn’t hide it but the group still doesn’t know because they’ve always acted like that
