i actually don't mind if 4 hour video essays are kind of nothingburger content wise, i don't click on a 4 hour video essay if i want something concise and effective. but when a 15 min video essay is excessively redundant and hollow that is when i start growling and clutching my cursed throbbing red eye

It's with a heavy but hopeful heart that I watch Palestinian families fundraiser on here, slowly accumulating the precious little money to go around that they need to survive. However, not everyone is so lucky. A lot of Palestinians that have not had that kind of luck, that did not get early verification, that did not get massive platforms behind them from large bloggers, have approached me in my inbox, asking me kindly to do what I can for them. It kills me that I have so little to give myself, but I've seen this platform collectively raise enough to change someone's life. I've made a list of Palestinian fundraisers that are extremely low on funds, in the hope that drawing attention to people who have not been lucky at all can help turn that luck around. I know most of us can't possibly give enough to get all of these families safe in one go. But please, reblog this list. Pick one or two fundraisers, give what you can, and then keep track of it. i genuinely hate how people have to sit and write a post that stands out while boosting a fundraiser because most people won't bat an eye at the misery and inhumane conditions Palestinians are living in.

i see people making art and telling others to use it because fundraisers with art are generally reblogged more often. i see people using colored text in order to make the post more eye catching.

palestinians on instagram are using popular audios and stitch trending reels at the beginning to make the world pay attention to them. imagine having to make something look entertaining in order to survive.

they are living under constant threat of israeli airstrikes, bombing, scarcity of food and disease. many have lost a lot in the past few months.

palestinians on tumblr are posting their pictures and the horrible conditions in which they are living. they travel long distances for internet connection only to be called a scammer by some privileged ass who cannot locate gaza on a map.

I will literally defend Samama Khalid with my life by the way. Sam fans get behind me we have a job to do.

If feel like a lot of the time his actions are taken heavily out of context or the reason behind why he thinks a certain way is brushed aside. Like how he acts towards Alice for example. Her being protective of him seems to have been an issue in the past for them, and her going behind his back to mess with his case files has only strengthened his distrust in her, and so he’s even less likely to listen. They clash naturally due to their opposing coping mechanisms; Alice chooses ignorance and Sam has to know. He thinks he can handle it, and it will likely be his downfall.

There’s more nuance to how he acts than him just being an asshole without reason, and you can not like him as a character, but please don’t make him out to just be an asshole, when there’s so much more to his character and motives.

In yet another escalation of the genocide and a clear message to the world that it will never accept a Palestinian state, Israel has assassinated Hamas political leader Ismail Haniyeh in Tehran.

Every pretense Israel had toward the idea of a two state solution, or an end to the war has died with him. His martyrdom in Tehran comes as a horrific sign that Israel will stop at nothing to eliminate all semblance of a Palestinian future.

Shaima and Muhammad are the sister and brother of Wafaa al-Nahll (@wafans-blog) who reached her goal recently. Their family includes 10 kids but the genocidal Hala travel agency is charging most of them adult rates to leave because they are over the age of 15. Muhammad has a newborn baby who is at risk of infectious disease because he couldn't get vaccinated. The family is currently sheltering in al-Mawasi which has seen gruesome massacres recently. They just started fundraising over a week ago but have been seeing extremely slow process, and as they are a big family they need a lot of funds AS SOON AS POSSIBLE.
