Four years.

Four years since Oscar had been locked up, and those four years were really stressful for y/n. She did everything she could to make sure Cesar had everything he needed, food, clothes, an education, and guidance.

Sure it was a little easy due to the fact that Oscar was allowed visitation and y/n would go and see him every chance she got, she never missed a chance and she never missed a phone call from him.

The boy had a troubled look on his face, conflicting almost.

Y/n paused in her footsteps, her heart started to race slightly and her palms became a little sweaty.

Back in the neighborhood, the crew decided to hang out at Ruby’s house. Though to avoid another conversation with Cesar, y/n excused herself and said she would hang out with them another time.

Beginning the walk back to her house a horn interrupts her thought process. As usual it was the shiny red impala with the man that had gotten her in a crossfire.

“I’m just gonna walk tonight.”

“Wasn’t asking. Get in the car.”

A deep sigh escapes her throat as she ran a hand through her hair.

“Oscar please.”

Shutting the car off, it’s silent for a few moments.

“Get in the car y/n.”

“No oscar.”

The man let out an aggressive breath.

“Y/n, get in the damn car.”

“Y/N GET IN THE FUCKING CAR NOW!”

A flinch errupted from her body but it didn’t scare her enough to listen. Deciding not to argue any further she walked away.

“Fuck this.”

Oscar mumbled as he got out and slammed the door shut and began to make his way towards her.

Hearing his footsteps quickly approaching, she sped up as fast as she could until he got a tight grip on her arm.

“Oscar let me go!”

The man didn’t listen as he continued to drag her back to his car.

“Oscar fucking Diaz let me fucking go now.”

She hit and kicked and hell she even scratched but he still wouldn’t budge. Ignoring her actions and rebellion, he moved to where she was now face to face with him and held her against the hood of the impala.

And in that moment she gave up. She gave up the tension on her shoulders of the guilt and frustration that constantly picked at her. She gave up the selfless actions and for once put herself first in this moment.

Letting their lips smack together, their breathes get heavy and deep, as their hands roam each others body desperately as if they hadn’t seen each other in years.

Tongues colliding, teeth smashing, hands squeezing her ass, they ignored there surroundings and for once let their feelings speak for themselves.

Just as they pulled away, the moment ended very quickly.

Their heads snapped to the pissed off voice and their stood Cesar with the rest of the crew behind him.

Oscar didn’t stutter and didn’t once falter his straight face. No doubt he felt bad about hurting his brothers feelings, but he didn’t feel bad about having the girl that he wanted.

“Listen hermanito, I know your pissed, and I’m sorry for going behind your back, but I’m not sorry that I’m with her. You can be pissed at me all you want, but you will not be pissed at her at all. It’s ain’t her fault, just like it ain’t your fault that you have feeling for Monse, but y/n is mine and I plan to keep it that way.”

Deep down Cesar knew his broken ther was right, sure it might take a while to get used to and to accept, but if there was anyone who protect y/n, it would be oscar no doubt.
