I’ve never heard of these terms until now, and I’m close to tears.

As a result of childhood trauma (no physical abuse, but lots of mental/emotional) I invented these characters who would encourage me in rough times. All this time, I thought I was genuinely crazy. Now that I have a name for this, it gives me a sense of purpose.

nah, fuck that, and fuck you, asshole. i need help and i'm not ashamed to ask for it. there's nothing wrong with needing others, and fuck you for trying to make me feel bad for requiring assistance while dealing with horrendous health shit, i have absolutely more than enough on my fucking plate right now without worrying about how lazy my sick ass is coming across right now after almost dying in a hospital. i'm gonna ask harder now. fuck you buddy. if anyone wants to help me buy food and other various needs while i'm recovering from a long and incredibly draining hospital stay where i had to answer twenty times as many questions about my gender identity as i did about the blood i was pissing, and help me stay alive while i try to get a job nailed down, jesus fucking christ i would appreciate it. this girl is feeling a might hopeless tbh and i truly do need all the help i can get.
