Over the years, Laios had seen the many sides of a drunk Chilchuck. There was the affectionate variant—one of the more common sides—where Chilchuck was sappy and sweet to the point it felt out of character. There was also the angry variant. This one was more like Chilchuck's usual snippy attitude, but turned up to an extreme. Right now, Chilchuck was neither affectionate nor angry, but... well, it was hard to describe.

Chilchuck has a moment of weakness, and Laios stays with him despite it.

I don't have an AO3 account so I couldn't comment on your fic, you don't have to respond to this cause typically I stay anon online, but I had to let you know that your chilaios fic is really good. I really like your writing style and pacing, you have a real handle on exactly what needs to be said to paint the image you want to conjure. You're also really good at writing characters in a very human way. I really look forward to more chapters and where you're hoping to take this story. Your take on addiction (which is obviously personal) really resonates with me as well and I'm really glad you've decided to write it this way. It's so impactful and visceral. It is just perfect, I really hope you continue with it!!!
