First Discussion Of The Blog: WHO Is The Color Cyan?
First discussion of the blog: WHO is the color Cyan?
In my project about "humanized" colors, color symbolism plays a HUGE role in how I write certain colors' personalities.
And because I am heavily biased, I've separated "Blue" into different hues: Cyan, Azure, Blue, and Indigo.
In the future I'd love to do a separate post on "Azure", but I'd love to get a general consensus on what specifically "Cyan" is to as many people as possible.
Or more specifically: Who? Who would "Cyan" be as a person?
Earlier in the year I made this poll, which generally agreed that Cyan is an Extrovert, in comparison to Blue being an Introvert:
I feel like there's generally some consensus that Cyan is more "energetic" than Blue; I've described it that Cyan is jumping directly into a frozen lake, and Blue is slowly freezing after being outside in the snow for too long, but both of them are "cold" feelings.
One thing I've also recognized, Cyan feels like it's most used in "youthful" marketing?
I've noticed specifically the most "Cyan" characters of all time (aka, characters who represent Cyan because they have another character in the cast that represents normal Blue), are both quite "cute" or perhaps even "childish" characters; specifically, Hatsune Miku and Cinnamoroll
I would love to have a discussion on "Who" the color Cyan is, to get a reference on what its color symbolism is.
I struggle with trying to pinpoint Cyan's ""personality"" without comparing it directly to other colors, especially in comparison to Blue.
Who is Cyan by themself? Who is Cyan in comparison to Blue in particular? What kind of personality would you associate with a character that's SPECIFICALLY Cyan-colored?
I would very much appreciate as much elaboration as possible!

In the spirit of starting discourse with you: What do you MEAN purple is not a color???
I've answered this before, but I'm happy to again!
For starters: purple is a color... kind of, but I say it isn't to be dramatic and simplistic.
Basically, I'm mad about how color is classified. When I was a kid, I was taught that the main six colors were Red, Orange, Yellow, Green, Blue, and Purple.
If you're little baby me, and try to paint a rainbow, you'll assume you need to paint those colors, in that order, blend them together, and you'll come out with a nice rainbow that looks like the ones you see IRL... but it won't. The colors won't look quite right.
Why? Because the Color wheel isn't actually this:
...it's this:
...but that's fair, right? Color is a spectrum, and we can't name every point on a spectrum, So we divide the spectrum into the six most recognizable ones!
Notice something? The colors aren't distributed evenly. Blue, Yellow, and Red are supposed to be the primaries, but Blue is much bigger than Yellow.
So, how do you make a rainbow? The way your printer, does! By blending Yellow with Magenta and Cyan!
When you divide the wheel like this, it's properly balanced! CMY are the primaries and the smallest sections, while RGB are the larger ones. You can see how Cyan and Yellow pigment make Green, and how Green and Red light make Yellow.
But now that we've divided it this way... Purple and Orange aren't on the wheel. Purple is just part of the spectrum between Aqua and Magenta, and Orange is just the spectrum between Yellow and Red. Cyan and Magenta have usurped them.
So, if the six main colors are Red, Magenta, Aqua, Cyan, Green, and Yellow... then Purple and Orange don't get to be colors.
Thus: purple is not a color.
