Atlas Speaks - Tumblr Posts
I love metaphorically rolling up my sleeves and preparing to write a fanfic that literally no one but me asked for.
Behold the aforementioned fic that no one asked for! I wrote this in an absolute daze after making that post and I will not apologise for shaking this thing loose from my brain.
Also, just for anyone who doesn’t read the notes, please, please watch the Autodale series by Dead Sound on Youtube. It’s so good.
I don’t know if there’s something in the air or if I’m just on a roll with writing right now. 3rd fic in 2 days.
It’s wild to go through my WIPs and find fully finished fics I just forgot to post or fics that are only a scene or two from being completed. This is what I get for working on 5 or more at once.
Entirely forgot to mention this, so giving a little warning now that I’ll be dropping off Tumblr on the 20th of this month until midway through next month because I’m desperate to avoid TF one spoilers and my country doesn’t get the movie until next month. If I finish any fics during that time, I will be posting on here, but otherwise, I won’t be on Tumblr much if at all.
I love writing something in a fit of passion and it feeling like the best thing I’ve ever written.
Behold, a fic brought to you by an enby who has not slept enough!
I officially can’t call my g/t Ao3 my side account anymore. 100k+ total word count over 44 fics and all the stats are so much higher for this account. It’s really funny to me that this spiralled so far out of hand. I’m so proud of myself and it’s absolutely wild how quickly this eclipsed my ‘main’ work.
Just a random fun fact about Aster: the last name they use is Phós. This is solely because, added to their first name, it makes their name translate from Greek as ‘starlight’ and I think that’s awesome.
One thing I find really cool about space research is that the way some articles are written, you can definitely see which authors believe in aliens. The way they’ll describe Earth as if it’s just one of many planets with life on it. It’s really cool!
One of the most soul-crushing experiences is when you’ve been told throughout your life that you meed mental help and when you go to get it, you’re told that it isn’t just a you problem.
If it’s a you problem, then you can be medicated. Go to therapy. Help yourself. Improve.
But when it’s a problem with the people around you, what can you do? They might not want to go to therapy. They might not want to get better. And you can’t make them.
It’s this eternal cycle of wanting to get better and struggling alone because the people around you refuse to get better, living out the same cycles of terrible behaviour over and over and over.
Hi! I'm Atlas! You've reached my COLOR account!
I really like colors! Color symbolism, color psychology, color theory, I love learning about them all! They even influence my prized OC project, "Simulacrum Ultralight", my dream cartoon idea that's fueled a lot by my love for colors!
I can't possibly fuel my special interest in colors just on my main blog, especially because I love talking about them so much! But I also felt it was time for a dedicated blog for it, so I could make lots of polls about them too!
Otherwise, this blog will be an archive for all of the color-related posts I've reblogged (and eventually polls I want to make, for personal research!), and I hope you enjoy either way!

fairly odd parents: a new wish got me thinking real hard about my other favorite color (periwinkle) and it makes me wanna think REALLY hard about what makes the color indigo tick
First discussion of the blog: WHO is the color Cyan?
In my project about "humanized" colors, color symbolism plays a HUGE role in how I write certain colors' personalities.
And because I am heavily biased, I've separated "Blue" into different hues: Cyan, Azure, Blue, and Indigo.
In the future I'd love to do a separate post on "Azure", but I'd love to get a general consensus on what specifically "Cyan" is to as many people as possible.
Or more specifically: Who? Who would "Cyan" be as a person?
Earlier in the year I made this poll, which generally agreed that Cyan is an Extrovert, in comparison to Blue being an Introvert:
I feel like there's generally some consensus that Cyan is more "energetic" than Blue; I've described it that Cyan is jumping directly into a frozen lake, and Blue is slowly freezing after being outside in the snow for too long, but both of them are "cold" feelings.
One thing I've also recognized, Cyan feels like it's most used in "youthful" marketing?
I've noticed specifically the most "Cyan" characters of all time (aka, characters who represent Cyan because they have another character in the cast that represents normal Blue), are both quite "cute" or perhaps even "childish" characters; specifically, Hatsune Miku and Cinnamoroll
I would love to have a discussion on "Who" the color Cyan is, to get a reference on what its color symbolism is.
I struggle with trying to pinpoint Cyan's ""personality"" without comparing it directly to other colors, especially in comparison to Blue.
Who is Cyan by themself? Who is Cyan in comparison to Blue in particular? What kind of personality would you associate with a character that's SPECIFICALLY Cyan-colored?
I would very much appreciate as much elaboration as possible!
