Clawhauser: But I didn't have a partner in mind. So I requested backup on the intercom and waited for whoever. Then I made my way to the front of the line and signed up. And you'll never guess what happens next! Bogo: Wait, wait, wait. You cut the line? Clawhauser: Yes. In my defense, I wanted to see Gazelle. Bogo: And you didn't get any pushback? Clawhauser: I did say it was official police business. Bogo: But it wasn't. Clawhauser: Yeah, but they didn't know that. Bogo: I'm beginning to understand how this was a crazy dream. Clawhauser: We didn't get to the crazy part yet. Bogo: I guess we'll need to agree to disagree on that point. Anyway, continue. Clawhauser: Where was I again? Bogo: Acting dishonest and inconsiderate? At the front of the line? Clawhauser: Right! So you'll never guess who shows up to be my backup! You! Bogo: Really? I wasn't embarrassed? Clawhauser: Not yet. Because you thought we were going undercover. Bogo: And you didn't correct me? Clawhauser: Actually, I reinforced your idea by repeating it to you. Bogo: You lied to me? Clawhauser: Yes, but in my defense... Bogo: And it worked!? Clawhauser: ...You're getting shocked at all the wrong points. Bogo: Clawhauser, lie to me. Clawhauser: What, right now? Bogo: Yes. Clawhauser: Ok, uh... you're ugly. [beat] No you're not, you're extremely hot. Bogo: See why I'm surprised now? Clawhauser: ...Maybe a little. Anyway, we were just about to go onstage when the guilt got the better of me and I had to confess I was lying to you. Then you got mad and accused me of insubordination. What does that mean anyway? Bogo: There is a reason I've never directed it at you. It means you did something I told you not to, or refused to do something I told you to do. Clawhauser: OHHH. Anyway, you left and I was getting booed off stage, my dream ruined... but then, out of nowhere, you came back and we danced together and won the whole competition! Bogo: You dreamed about dancing with me. Clawhauser: Yep, and you were so hot and strong. Can you really lift me in one arm? Bogo: Probably. But not for a long time. Clawhauser: What about both arms? Bogo: Oh, I could carry you for hours. Clawhauser: [squeals] Bogo: Uh... If the situation required. Clawhauser: Aww. While shirtless? Bogo: Um... excuse me, I have somewhere to be right now... since a ton of people are getting into music as gaeilge because of hozier, can i recommend my fave artist, róisín seoighe? she's a native irish speaker and language ambassador whose lyrics often involve the preservation of irish culture and deep rage against colonization. níl mé marbh ("i'm not dead") makes me cry like a baby and sin do lamh ("reach out") makes me want to burn all of colonialism down. she's also done several collabs with imlé, another EXCELLENT irish language band that does modern-feeling rock and dance music! my fave of their collabs right now is ÉAD ("jealous").

both artists have less than 1,700 monthly listeners on spotify simply because they sing in irish & they deserve more bc their music Really Is Excellent. translations of many songs are google-able & when there Aren't english translations, it's really good practice for people learning irish!
